So many fans twisting words. It's laughable. Attitude doesn't even make sense in the sentence NW said. Ok Etienne…. Great reply 👍 Maybe re listen and learn about words that make sense in a sentence.

Great reply 👍 Maybe re listen and learn about words that make sense in a sentence. Thanks. What doesn’t make sense is how annoyed you’re getting over a small disagreement. By the way he also references what’s between his ears a short time later which absolutely suggests it was Attitude he started to say

I guess it's all about opinions/
I also thought he was about to say attitude.
I don't think he'd have felt the need to stop and correct himself if he was going to say attributes.

By the way he also references what’s between his ears a short time later which absolutely suggests it was Attitude he started to say 1. He needs to change certain 'attitudes' to his game. 2. He needs to change certain 'attributes' to his game. The bit about 'between his ears' I will say, that could be down to 'attitude'.as Neil is saying that it is down to him how far he wants to go in that part. But the part people are going on about is 100% attributes.

Absolute rubbish. 'He lnows what he can do, i know what he can do, but he needs to change certain....' Attitude does not fit at all in that.. So before stirring stuff, have a listen again. I did as you say and you’re right, he said “…..certain att”, then stopped and corrected himself. “Attitude” wouldn’t fit, I agree. Get back to school then.... attitude doesn't even make sense. He needs to change certain....... to his game. I agree with htfcfc in that the bit inbetween his ears is relevant to Attitude. But the bit you are meaning isn't at all.

Here is a plug for a podcast called The Rabbit Hole Detectives where the participants start talking about a subject... are certain they are right and get drawn further down into the rabbit hole and find that others might have other information! Actually very good: stars Dr Cat Jarman, Rev Richard Coles and Charles Spencer.

www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/football/news/neil-warnock-etienne-camara-transfer-27131972?utm_source=linkCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebarHuddersfield Town manager Neil Warnock has challenged Etienne Camara to knuckle down and give him a selection headache going into next season. The midfielder has been the subject of transfer interest from abroad in recent weeks. A report in The Mirror claimed Camara is being courted by a number of European clubs in France, Germany and Italy. Belgian side Anderlecht and Italian outfit Udinese were also previously credited with a transfer interest in the Camara. However, the France Under-20 international has found game time hard to come by since Warnock returned to the club back in February. He fell out of favour, featuring just three times under the veteran boss as the Terriers pulled off the great escape. But Warnock insists Camara will be given an opportunity to prove his credentials when the team returns for pre-season training at the end of the month. "He is at a good stage in his career and he has got to make a decision on himself because he knows how I want him to play," Warnock told Yorkshire Live. "I think he can do what I want him to do but he has got to change certain bits of his game to cater for the Championship. "I will be working very hard with him in pre-season because that would save us buying or getting somebody else in. I had a good long chat with him at the end of last season even though I didn't think I was going to be here. "I had a conversation with him about how he has got all the ability in the world: he has the stature, the touch but does he want to pick up an average wage for the rest of his life or does he want to be something really good? He could be something really good but it is all between his ears. "It is not going to be me or anybody else that will decide that; it will be between his ears. I have seen that a lot of times over my career. Sometimes you win and they become really good players and sometimes they end up playing non league. Let's hope it is a good result this time." Floating about in midfield, playing long passes that you stand and watch, isnt how Warnock sees his futute here?? Being 'able to play a bit' isnt enough anymore, you have to graft and support and you have to play as part of the team in the style and tactical approach laid down. If you can really play a bit it will come through. Have to understand that here there are going to be games that your effectiveness will be gauged on ground covered and tackles, intereptions rather than defence splitting balls etc. He is s young lad, he has the talent, we have seen it in flashes, now has to add the rest. Hope he can, I like him a lot. Agree. Hope Neil can get a tune out of him, if not, no-one can.

He’s a great player. The only bright spot last season pre-Warnock. Hopefully he can kick on. Proper footballer.

I said last season, so sorry to repeat myself, but our best midfield was Camara, Kasumu & Rudoni. They just seemed to click. They were all happy to receive the ball in tight positions and they passed the ball between them really well. I hope having Warnock in from the start of the season that he can shape those lads into the midfield unit I think they could be.
Camara was always ready to drop back to pick the ball up from deep and ready to chase and tackle, but the formation around him gave him very few passing options. I hope that can be corrected this season and we see him flourish.

TBH I thought he was saying "attitude" as well. But I wonder whether we as fans read too much into that.
Does it mean that he thinks he's already made it and doesn't need to listen to some old codger who had some success at this club about a decade before he was born? Well, maybe. But maybe it doesn't.
Attitude could mean that he's having difficulty adapting to what NW wants from him, and that difficulty is coming from a mental block that he hasn't (yet) got over.
And frankly, even if it is something like the former - he's still only 20 years old. Plenty of time for the penny to drop.
This lad is (imo) the most exciting prospect the club has had in my time as a fan. I hope he fulfils his potential, and that he does so here.

From the outside EC seems to have a very laid back demeanour, Warnock will want more from him and needs him to be switched on. I personally wouldn't take offence if he did say attitude. We can say with 100% certainty he will have blasted the players with a lot worse last season. He definitely wasn't shy about calling out Pearson and Helik when they made mistakes

Camara always looks confident on the ball.Doesnt lose possession and usually come out on top in 50/50s. Almost like a Bellingham. Downside is, if he has one good season we may have to retire his shirt! 🙄

I certainly hope so. Watched QT last night and David blunkett had to correct a bloke in the audience. He said some like “middle aged white men shouldn’t really comment on women’s abortion rights “. Bloke in audience took offence. Blunkett correctly said “I can’t see your white, I’m blind. I was talking about myself “. The video is 90 minutes long and I can’t be arse listening to the full thing again. But many folks first impression is not the way you saw it.

Difference is. I am correct in stating it isn't 'attitude'. I will say it until the cows come home. Attitude doesn't even make sense in the sentence he was saying. I really do not understand how people can even thing it. You can ever here 'attr' if you listen properly.

A very balanced assessment that. Hugely talented (as was Billing) but has a languid style which isnt always easy on the eye when without the ball and needs to quicken up when in possession to progress imho. The key question is does he want to work for a man who will make him better but there might be times he frustrates and struggles..............or will foreign destinations offer him an easier existence where his talents may shine quicker given its slower pace and where his agent benefits also.REALLY hope it's the former, because this lad could make us a lot of money, or become capable of building a team around. If (as you and Galph say) he knuckles down and takes NW's criticism/advice to heart and not be sulky about it he could become an amazing all-round player. I'm not one for stereo-typing...but you appear to be suggesting "be less French" !?

I'll be pleasantly surprised if he's still here come September. He has ability but will Warnock persuade him to play his way which is not the style so many clubs adhere to these days. I think his head has already been turned.

He's had some good footballing teams in his time, if he tries that route Camara is the most suited.

Warnock played a style he thought got the best out of his squad, unlike what some managers do, where they try to implement a playing style regardless of whom they have at their disposal. I very much doubt we'll suddenly become hugely possession based, but I'm sure it will change from some of the backs to the wall last year, such as if we have a fit Yuta (who is okay on the ball) in a back three and a midfielder who can really get their foot on it and find a pass (which could arguably be Camara if he adds a bit of energy to his game and kicks on). Watch us sign a huge striker now and just hoof it 🤣

I think Warnock was just about to say attitude and stopped himself.
The rest of what he says also suggests the NW think’s Etienne has a bit of an attitude.
There’s a lot of clubs interested in him and it wouldn’t surprise me if he leaves in the summer.
That would be a shame as he’s the very best of the youngsters we have
