The curry house stuff was funny and an interesting tangent. The weekly forced pun threads not so much but still nothing wrong with them. I've learnt maybe 3 interesting points of view and 0 facts from years of political discussion on the main board though.

What I can’t understand is why speculation about the next manager is on the main board, while speculation about players has to be on its own sub-board. To curry favour with the admins, I’m think we should have a new sub-board and/or more stickies.

When we go to watch Town we only talk about the game and nothing else. We definitely don’t make jokes or try and have a laugh. It would spoil it for all of us. The quality of the football, winning all the time and everything being so rosy is more than enough. Anything else would sully the experience.

I like to win, I have learnt to live with dissapointment and that changing what you do or say with the frigging wind does not make your life better. Perspective on most things in life makes it easier to take a loss or accept a win with good grace and sense. |

More puns the better for me. (Shrug) With hindsight yeah, sorry about missing the sarcasm! As much as I'd love us to win promotion and then win the league title, conquer Europe etc., I imagine it would get a bit boring after a while. I'd hate us to become the sort of side like Man Utd where finishing 7th is considered a failure. |
