Ive not watched tonight ill be honest, I was washing my hair. Did I really just see Turton, that reasonably reliable championship right back on the lhs of a 3?
The delusion that this team plays with a 3 at the back needs to be smashed. We were not Liverpool or City last year. We got away with it because of the players and the coach we had. Town have to play 4 at the back. 4. 4. 4 and whatever in front.

Its not difficult. That would have been a league cup team last year.
The only bonus seems to be we are not marooned and if Dean decides to sack him and bromby and bring dave in to see if he can save it, it'll cost or it'll cost to go down. Decisions Decisions.

Yeah, I heard that just as it ended. Yet another joke, though I know most clubs do it (Sutton don’t for certain). I’d say your figure of 9k looked about right. I’m just amazed that there doesn’t seem to be even the slightest bit of protest directed towards Dean Hoyle. I reckon its just apathy about it all Exactly, what's the fucking point, we're screwed and it's too late and no one from top to tea lady gives a flying.. |

It was the total lack of action (from the so called coach) that did for me.
He watched the first half like we did and at half time did nothing.
Then a full 20 minutes after they score he made one change, only to protect Kasumu from a red as far as I could see.
That was me done, I left after 71ish minutes.
Checking the stats when I get home I see that he didn't make another change.
He must think the performances of Ward and Lees were acceptable. (Danny Ward's miss from the perfect cross by Jackson was borderline deliberate)
I don't.
(Those were the 2 stand out stinkers for me today, there were others)
That's me done with them, until after the World Cup or he gets sacked.
Whichever comes first.

Can anyone genuinely say that they saw anything tonight to suggest that we won't be in the bottom 3 for the rest of the season?

Numb to it now. Another really bad performance that we’ve seen numerous times this season. Sick of it now. We’re total shite all over the pitch and in massive trouble. I’ve not seen anything from Fotheringham other than try to get Thomas away and cross the ball in. That’s it. He can’t fix everything in 5 games but something would be a start.

Players in lumps nowhere near where the ball is?? Two up front, mostly on their own in the opposition half. Players working harder at getting involved with preston players rather than trying to close down or even tackle them? No idea what Jordan was thinking, its a red card all day long. Too slow most of the time, too much pitch surrended too much of the time. One or two runs with the ball that at least got us free kicks but against a team that love the physical challenge of balls in the air, into feet, you have to run at them far more often. Ref gave a yellow to Jordan, should have been red then could not see Camaras challenge, gave a free kick and a booking??? He didnt have a good game either. Not sure where we go from here, Hogg back, pearson back and some genuine pace up front might help?  Its a tough watch.. |

Rotherham were even worse and they're 10th This division is garbage and a bit of organisation goes a long way. Get a decent manager in and we've a chance of moving upwards a bit |

Not a deliberate miss? In which case he is was so shit he should be dropped. No point playing 2 dinosaurs up front, play the bettter one alongside something less Jurassic. Credit to Duane Holmes this seaosn. He's the one player who can come off after each game and say he gave it his all. He battled non stop tonight but there's only so much you can do on your own
