If he has gone with Gerrard, it is the perfect time to get rid of MF after Saturday and get Critchley in Monday morning. Did a brilliant job on a shoestring with Blackpool.

Would he come for minimum wage and work under instruction from Bromby? This is the problem we have, the conditions a good coach has to agree to.

Yes I’d go with this. I don’t normally want town to lose but I’d take a loss at Middlesbrough to get this clown out of our club and give us a fighting chance of staying in the division

Really cannot understand why anyone would want town to loose tomorrow but I guess wont. Just sat at home hoping town have lost. Hope Town don’t disappoint you !

I can't believe that anyone thinks we'll sack Foth this side of xmas if even this side of the end of the season.

Gerrard was very limited as a manager, was trading on his playing career. I’m not surprised that he left Rangers when he did, he won 1 trophy in a 2 horse race over 3 years, and took an opportunity that was well beyond his abilities. If he stayed and Postecoglou won the trophies with Celtic, his career at a high level was cooked. As it turned out, it’s cooked anyway because he’s been found out.

Wouldn’t be against Critchley other than the risk he does a runner to join Gerrard again, assuming he gets another management position

You could all start a Go Fund Me page to pay off Fotheringham’s contract, or should we just pick it from the magic money tree?

Though our current situation is not good, you use plural ‘appointments’, last year we were at Wembley? Do you just mean the last 12 weeks?

Even at £5k a week, just casually throwing £750k around amounts to more than ‘not much’

It’s a lot of if’s. I get we are all pissed off at the moment. Let’s get to the World Cup break and see where we are.

The last 4 managers Hoyle has set on have been novices, we got lucky the first time but the last 3 have stunk the place out.

I think we'll be adrift by the time of the World Cup but only Hoyle can make the stick or twist call, so stick it is I guess.

Think the situation we’re in might be too irretrievable for a Critchley type, suspect we need more of a Warnock type now. Critchley would have been a good appointment after CC left or DS was dismissed, not so sure anymore.

Even for someone like Warnock we would need to make the switch pretty soon.
