I want a club I can be proud of, not some shameful, sports washing exercise to divert attention from their horrendous human rights abuses.
I’d rather we were a part-time non-league outfit with a bit of dignity than that.

I’d much rather a local owner and town fan who had a bit of money to support the club and move it forwards (basically Dean 6 years ago) than a mega rich person/consortium that didn’t care about the community.
Can’t see that there will be too many interested parties though.

Fuck the Saudis. They can get in the sea with the Russians, Qatari’s, Emiratis and Yanks.
They don’t have to come from the UK. But they must have integrity.
P.S. nobody with a boat load of cash is buying HTAFC unless they fancy a vanity project.

Bit of a stupid question.
I'd like Qatar to own us and then advertise on here for stadium maintenance people.
You want someone mega rich but astute, nobody like the forest owner, but maybe abrahmovic style would suit us best.
Not an American.... that wouldn't be great.
I could see a massimo cellino type.

What you see and read in the papers is over exaggerated. Qatar was my favourite. Beautiful country too. Been back 2 years in the UK but was in Qatar for the build up to the WC. They are proud to host it. These workers that have died is sad, but it hasn't been through slavery etc from what you hear and read. They are entitled to drink breaks etc, some just refuse. |

Local Town fan as means there's a reasonable chance they'll have the clubs best interests at heart.
If they're rich as well as being a local Town fan (or at least rich enough for us not to feel like smaller teams can offer more money than we can for a player we really want and we're not worrying about going into administration) then even better.

Reasonable ambition is a difficult premise since Lingard got 180k a week at Forest. I guess a 38 year old sunday league centre half should be paid a grand a week by the pub now?  ? Maybe 'reasonable' is how much you are prepared to lose to be average or worse? Not sure any other business model would ever believe that was 'reasonable ambition'? |
