Didn't motivate Malone and Afobe did it? Didn't motivate Snodgrass last season. Happens everywhere. It will always happen. Personally, I love it when a booed player takes it and gives banter back. If Pritchard gets booed and takes it. Fair play to him. Did Malone or Afobe receive any boos? I certainly didn't hear any which was pleasing as it rarely helps I can't see any reason to boo Afobe or Malone. |

I genuinely saw next to no effort in the later stages of his career here. When more than one Town manager states that he is fully fit but not very willing to play, when I watch him strolling round the pitch not seeming to care, then I think he is a waste of time. I accept booing people may be counter productive but for what he said about us and for his attitude I'd gladly make an exception. An almost total waste of a vast amount of money . A vast amount. I agree with you in term of lack of effort towards the end of his time with us. He wasn't always like that though. When he first joined his attitude/effort was very good. It's just the quality that was lacking. I agree ACW - I think it was his first home match when he scored for us - a cracking shot. That really was as good as it got. After that - 2/3 months? - he developed several "injuries" that no-one seemed to be able to diagnose, culminating in the famous cyst and at least 2 different Town managers publicly stated their frustration. Paying millions for someone (and, genuinely, paying them wages amounting to millions) does not guarantee success but it should certainly guarantee effort, pride in performance and professionalism. I did not see this from the horrible little man. |

BUT HE COST US £11M (ELEVEN MILLION).
I am thinking of getting to the ground early and shouting at this waste of space c**t as he gets off the bus,
‘Pritchard, if you have a good game today it will be the first you ever had at this stadium’.
I detest that little bastard more than any Player I have ever seen wear the blue and white stripes.

Can think of few players more deserving of boos than him. We made him one of our highest paid players ever and gave him another shot at the prem, and he acted like he owed the club nothing. Made bugger all effort in improving himself physically, the single most pathetic sick note excuses a player has ever had for us, and showed very little strength of character on the pitch.

Hope he does have a poor gane for our sake. Even when he hasnt had the official 'assist' touch he has been involved in the build up to most of their goals and scored a few himself. He needs to be marked hard and close from the off.

It seemed clear that Afobe was trying to give his best when playing for Town, albeit that Arsenal had his measure as a prospective player at the higher levels of the sport; we can conclude they were accurate in their assessment of his potential. Malone wasn't the most dynamic full back for Town, and his post signing interview gave the impression of a player who thought he had made a mistake, or perhaps that a significantly increased salary, as engineered by his agent, wasn't everything. His move to Derby Co seems to either have shown how he was viewed at Town, or illustrated his agent's income generating drive, or his desire to move a bit further south. |

When he first joined I thought Pritchard's attitude was good. He put a shift in all the time, even thought his efforts often amounted to not much. Towards the end though he looked like he'd downed tools, and that is poor. I don't see him as quite the mercenary that Diakhaby, Mbenza and Kongolo turned out to be. He was an expensive mistake but, at least when he first joined, I thought he tried his best. It's just the quality wasn't there. As for Wednesday, I'll be focusing on town, not Pritchard. He was every bit as mercenary. Just like the other mercenaries Depoitre (2nd season), Durm. Awful contributions from players on massive salaries. The decision making and recruitment from the club during this period was painful when we look back It was painful at the time too, not just when we look back. |

What a strange player. I was delighted when we signed him and actually really rated him for the rest of that season.
It was only a drunken chat when we were trying to recollect goals and assists i was converted to thinking he does absolutely bugger all.
