Not sure I'd want a right sided defence of Turton and Pearson up against Twine and Mehmeti. Unless we go to a back 3 with wing backs I suppose.

It’s the rule for most injured players who are lauded as absolute world beaters whilst they aren’t playing. Look at Pat Jones, he’s spent the last 2 seasons being heralded as a wonder kid, in reality he looks miles off being Championship ready. Turton is a very average Championship full back who after 2 serious injuries will probably never be the same player again. average championship full back is a big improvement on Edwards, Headley, Jackson who I believe are all currently more suited to playing L1 or L2 football, hench why a fit Turton is a good option to have, I would trust Turton more for the last 10 mins of a game we are say 1-0 up in than I would any of the other 3, he has experience and a work ethic and desire I dont think the other 3 have. Can’t beat a hench full back 😉

I believe a number of the medical staff have been let go? And I do wonder if they are partially to blame for both us signing unfit players which they, presumably pass. Also the number of injuries we've had and time it takes to recover that seemed pretty excessive this year. I wouldn't be shocked as fitness and injuries aren't good and it's a standing joke now we sign players who are/ or soon will be injured Typically for Town we had a very good coach in John Iga - the guy who was in Wagner's set up and got us hyper fit and able to gegenpress opposition sides out of the game. The number of late goals we scored was no coincidence Iga left in 2020 (two years after Wagner) and 4 years later we're worse off I get managers like there own guys for specialism around tactics and shape but I don't get why we change the coaches when we have good guys in role and they're not core to the tactics etc Other businesses don't run like this. New Directors are expected to work with the existing team - they may change one or two but typically keep the majority and work with them Iga, Clement (goalie coach) and Nacho (set pieces) are three who seemed top of their profession. Stayed loyal(all stayed under numerous different managers) and are streets ahead of what we have now - I mean Darren's Moore's team are at Port Vale and Warnock's team only get work when NW gets a new job! Ironically Iga, Clement and Nacho are all at Norwich - Wagner is the smartest manager we had in my time watching Town and he'll have seen a lot of coaches and he hand picked these three. We literally gift wrapped him Nacho and Clement in the summer Can you imagine Town poaching three coaches from Norwich right now - yet we binned these guys off and thought Port Vale's coaching team would be better. Crazy Thanks for that HuddsTerrier... it really reflects so badly (unsurprisingly) on our upper management.

Hopefully by the Bolton game Healey, Radulovic and Kane are fit enough for consideration Radulovic will still need time to get fit so I'd expect a couple of weeks after that before he'd be in any starting contention. Might be good for 15 minutes or so then at best

Didn’t get his pre-season. And I think someone said Lees has been struggling with a niggle.

Although Duff said Kane was behind the rest of the squad in terms of fitness and trying to catch up. Maybe that's why he's ended up injured.

Not looking like Healey's gonna be around much. Duff says they're not really sure what the problem is.

Updated as per PC Healey (TBC) Spencer (TBC) Kane (TBC) Kasumu (TBC) Balker (2025) Does TBC mean MD doesn't know how long they are out for? Spencer is training with the squad, Kane and Kasumu are close. Healey they don't know what the problem is. May be to do with a graft for an old ACL injury. So they don't know. That's from Duff at the press conference. Sounds like Radulovic could be on the bench on Saturday. Ladapo can maybe manage 20 minutes.

Not looking like Healey's gonna be around much. Duff says they're not really sure what the problem is. If it's to do with the ACL graft as he mentioned in the PC then he will need surgery to correct it and we won't see him much (if at all) this side of Easter.** Hopefully it isn't that and it's just a tweak (again as MD alluded to) so he can be back in the squad before the new year. ** Having said that, surgery recovery times seem a lot shorter than they used to. Edit: I've also been told (by an ex-physiotherapist) that if (as MD mentioned) they took some of his hamstring for the graft it may cause him problems for the rest of his career, hope that's not the case.

Sounds like we need a striker in the January window unless Bojan miraculously steps up about 3 or 4 levels from where he was at last time we saw him (v Guiseley) 😭
