His injuries only appear when we start losing, weird that. Bet there’s nowt wrong with his golf swing or his drinking arm. Having tendontius for Ward is a beauty, as he can bring it back as and when he needs it. Its an injury that needs managing, but can "be too much" whenever the person suffering sees fit. Ward is not and has never being the model professional . I don't know why people would have expected him to change that in the later part of his career. He will see this year out then retire. |

I reckon we've got a wage bill that sits in the top 3 or 4 in the division, but we're probably spending more than anyone else on paying consistently injured players. Cash that we need to spend elsewhere.
Ward must be one of the top earners at the club, and I reckon Balker can't be far behind him. Nor can Healey. Summer 2025 can't come soon enough to clear out the dead wood, although I have to admit at this moment I have limited confidence we'll bring the right people in.

Danny Ward, absolute piss taker. I think that's a little harsh. As we are fully aware, swinging a 6 iron out of the rough is an ambitious move prone to a very real possibility of calf problems. |

Nicholls has the worst shot save percentage of any keeper over 20 games in the championship last season
Early days but he’s 13th in league one this season
He’s still living off a great season 3 years ago now - poor last few seasons

Once again, cheers Warnock. Ye that Warnock useless getting us promoted and saving us from relegation. We are so lucky having really smart people on DATM who are so knowledgeable about sod all. The Warnock your praising rightly so who got dogs abuse first time round off the clueless bed setters who didn’t want to give him time to turn things round. |

Won just six of his opening 23 league games in 3rd tier (93/94), we were on 25 points from a possible 69........CC won only 3 games in a run of 26 league matches, both survived & both walked at the end. |

You always get a few moaners around you in the ground regardless how well we are doing,,but I honestly don't remember anything other than the normal stuff where I was standing around the half way line in the middle of the terrace |

October 1993 we lost to Barnet at home who had lost every game ( about 8 I think) until they came to Leeds road.only 5600 there but the shit Warnock was getting then was a million times worse than anything given to management teams now. No Social media and smart phones but the papers and fans knew how to make it clear when not happy. |

I remember Warnock getting pelters in his first year in charge at the start of his reign and Barnet was one of the games when town fans were absolutely giving him pelters , folk have short memories . Warnocks start at town was horrendous and the fans were not happy, far far worse than Duffs.

Yes the Autoglass trophy run definitely helped save Warnocks job although I think Fisher would possibly have given him more time without it.......CC had the closed doors games during his dreadful run, not sure he would have survived with fans in the ground. |
