Richard Kosmala has posted on twitter that Nicholls is on the training pitch next to the B Team game doing sprints. (Sorry don’t know how to copy the link on here) Isn't it supposedly a shoulder injury? So, I guess he could still run.

If he's at Camalside I hope nobody gets the hump if he can't play on Saturday.

Until the club release details regarding this supposed injury, it will all be speculation.

Nicholls is having an injection which means he might still be able to play.

If he needs surgery , then what the hell is an injection going to do? if your shoulder needs an op, then an injection would solve nothing.

Surely he would only have been ruled out for 6 months if he'd actually had the surgery. If he's having injections and has been seen sprinting around the training pitch earlier it would suggest he hasn't had surgery and a few people have been jumping the gun in the last few days....

Yes but as we all know, that is a 1-2 game fix at best. It is not something you can do for months on end, therefore if he needs surgery they would not just do this for 1-2 games, it would not be worth it for him or the club. You can do more damage that way .The shoulder joint is one that, can if not fixed right cause issues forever spesh for a keeper .

Having had 1 cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months ago, and now waiting for another, I can testify that it will indeed take the pain away for quite a while. Not a permanent fix, but might get him through the rest of the season.

Aaron Rowe hasn’t featured in anything for a while is he injured, surely can’t have been frozen out of the b team

Yeah its true Lee Nicholls is out for 6 months. We are however looking at two keepers on loan. You're full of it, lad.

"Fucking get up or that's happening" would be a motivator for not being injured.

An injection will probably be local anaesthetic and steroid (but not cortisone). But the local anaesthetic will provide pain relief and the steroid anti inflammation All a bit dodgy for a young athlete though I'd leave him to physio 😘

Examiner just put their preferred line ups and Nichols is there, you’d think they would know wouldn’t you? Unless they are planning on putting Bilokapic in his shirt and hoping Noone notices Suggested best Huddersfield Town line-up with upcoming injury returns: Lee Nicholls; Matty Pearson, Michal Helik, Tom Lees; Matt Lowton, Jonathan Hogg, David Kasumu, Kaine Kesler-Hayden; Anthony Knockaert, Jack Rudoni; Jordan Rhodes. Substitutes: Nicholas Bilokapic, Will Boyle, Ollie Turton, Etienne Camara, Duane Holmes, Sorba Thomas, Florian Kamberi.

I think there's an argument for keeping Boyle in the side when Pearson comes back and dropping Lees instead.

My dad was knocked off his bike over a decade ago, dislocated shoulder and fractured clavicle. This many years on and, despite extensive physio, he's been told he'll never get more than 70% usage back
