Got this from a QPR fan I'm in touch with.. "I wouldn't put a penny on QPR for tuesday's match. We've gone three and a half games now without scoring and had just two shots on saturday. And five first team players out injured." Are they aware town have 7 first team players out after selling another 4? The lads did well on Saturday. Honestly, it's damage limitation here until the break. Id seriously consider crashing the bus into a small ditch and seeing if we can claim a point on the Blackpool life insurance policy. We’ve also only scored once in 5 games and that was a mis-hit cross.

Jackson, Holmes , Rudoni Diarra, Ward, Thomas Spencer,Lees/ Boyle, Helic, Ruffells That's probably what I'd go with, I'd even be tempted to play Boyle instead of Ward if Lees is fit. Not as a striker, although he couldn't do much worse the way Danny has been playing recently. Diarra, Thomas, Rudoni and Holmes are best running with the ball at their feet. I'd just let them take it in turns to take the QPR defense on in 2's and 3's with support from Spencer and Ruffels at Wing Back. Jackson will have to play a holding midfield role as there's nobody else 🤷♂️

Its likely we will concede, dont wait for it to happen before playing to try and win.

Lone wideman crossing to lone striker waiting for support from a break on the edge of our box isnt working for us. Down the middle with some depth defending and going forward might do better. Overload Qpr now and again down the middle area, two centre halves with nobody to mark often get a bit lost...

I hope this dross isn't on the red button, save us all from slipping in to a deep depression.

Would it be ridiculous to play the Man City lad or Ruffels in midfield? Back 5 would also cover the midfield shortage. I’d love 1!!

Boyle had a really good game at the back, let him have another go to try and prove myself and other wrong!

Its another tough one with QPR lying 5th in the league, I try and be optimistic , but I cannot see anything other than a home win. Its just Towns woeful lack of goals that is the most worrying thing at the present time .
I hope Town manage to prove me wrong , but I am going for a 3-0 home win.

Nicholls Ruffels Boyle (Lees hopefully) Helik Spencer Jackson Russell Diarra Rudoni Rhodes Thomas or Holmes Rudoni Thomas for a abit of mobility! Holmes Rudoni and Thomas as a front three is what I would probably do. Jackson and Diarra hopefully offers energy in the middle to help Russell and bringing on a striker or two later on would ideally have an actual impact instead of straight swaps.

I can't see any harm in MF just telling them to throw caution at the wind from the first minute. A bit of gumption & a bit of luck is needed to get the all important first goal.
But another tough game tonight, but they're all tough games when you're down in the weeds like Town are just now...

I thought QPR were one of the better teams to visit our ground last season. It'll be a tough game tonight.

We need every player to run a marathon tonight, 2 wins this week gives us a fighting chance to stay up, but if its 2 defeats then we start preparing for League one.......sounds crazy but with the odds stacked so high against Town winning, probably a 2-0 victory then...UTT.

Either way I think no Ward or Rhodes offers greater pace and threat upfront.

The GOAT deserves a statue outside the ground if he manages to get anything tonight.

I’m depressed thinking about our starting 11. Think folk have forgotten how hard that Cesspit Division 3 was to get out of and that was with Hoyle chucking money at it.
Come on Town 🙏🏿

I'm feeling optimistic for this one. So I'll say just 1-0 to QPR.

I'm also expecting a comfortable win for QPR.
Strange though, because if the roles were reversed and we were riding high in the table with the prospect of a home game against a team bottom of the table with all sorts of injuries, some of us would probably be a bit nervous, expecting them to play out of their skins and turn us over.

Get in the other half and win some dead ball situations. Russell should be playing so at least 3 big men to hit.
