Still one or two on here in cloud cookoo land Fozzy has to go tonight no progress nothing he,s clueless he will come out with his usual drivel after the match won't score another goal while he is in charge ffs please resign You seem to think we’d score goals under another manager. We are dreadful up front. Danny ward. One good season in 7 Jordan not scored in years. Hope that Simpson gets up to speed quickly otherwise we’re doomed

A willing, well coached side. We just lack any real quality in the attacking third. I feel sorry for Fotheringham. He’s hampered by things that are out of his control are u drunk, bottom of the league and a worse record than schofield

Decent performance given the difference in class. Thought we defended well for the most part against a side with better players all over the field. The players gave everything and that’s all we can ask for, we just don’t have the quality to cause teams problems unfortunately. January can’t come soon enough, need 5 or 6 players bringing in who can go straight into the team. Most optimistic comment of the day?

Hoyle has really shit out with Fotheringham.
His last 3 appointment have been nothing short of criminal. Siewert, Schofield & Fotheringham, now 40 games combined, 5 (five) wins.
Disgraceful.

Those attacking MF really are gunning for the wrong target.
The season was in turmoil from the minute the CEO slashed the budget and forced the manager out. Every drop of spirit, belief and pride went with him.
No side can lose the players we did, not adequately replace them and expect anything other than what has unfolded.
We’re in free fall again, just as we were the last time he sold us. The only difference is that we were daft enough to believe the hyperbole being spouted last time around.

He's been given the crucial 4 week break. They aren't going to sack him now and he isn't going to walk away from being a championship manager. Have to hope that we strike lucky somewhere somehow.

Yeah, I'm sure their "over-worked" defence and keeper can't believe they got away with a clean sheet. Deluded to the point of parody.

He’s absolutely deluded. If we are going down anyway at least give it Chico and we might get some actual football played.

For all the crap being spouted Nichols never made a save, the sad thing about this division is that Sheff U are joint top.

People need to stop trying to sugar coat things. We are dire. The worst team in the league. This is not being negative, its the truth.
Doesn't mean I do not support and follow town. Just a realistic point of view. By the time Rotherham at home comes around, it will more than likely have been 3 defeats since returning. The gap will be too big.

Is Fotheringham really doing that bad with what he’s got? He took over a team 3 points adrift with a game in hand on 21st. We're now 5 points adrift with no games in hand on 21st. We have no structure, failed to score in half of his 12 games & players are going backwards under his stewardship. Yes, he's doing badly.

For all the crap being spouted Nichols never made a save, the sad thing about this division is that Sheff U are joint top. Did you watch the game? Are you telling me that Town played well? We could barely string two passes together, relied on deep defence and long hoofs, and hardly created a chance worthy of the name. Sheff Utd are better than us, but that does not excuse our extremely poor performance.

One bonus for MF is that he's been able to work on his tan in the Spanish sun for free.
Nevermind those loyal supporters who've payed £35 a ticket to watch that shambles.

Just leaving Sheffield, awful first half and then bossed it second half admittedly without creating enough. If Helik had got that at the end they couldn’t have had any complaints.
Frustrating not to get at least a point against a team at the top. Trying to see the positives, still think we have enough to get out of the mess we’re in.

As for the players, thought Thomas looked awful today. Looks like he's come back with the attitude 'Im a world cup star. Every time I get touched I'm going down and you have to give it, ref." Ward totally anonymous. Thought Rudoni got better as the game went on though. Oh and Diarra starts for me every time. Over Holmes.

I’m sure there are, but are we willing to pay their wages and are they willing to play under our current board? The time it took to appoint MF suggests we knew the answer to all 3 questions and had no other viable option.

We are desperately short of quality. I don’t think we’re badly coached. It’s all well and good asking for another change but look at what he has to work with. Same as Blackburn, we limited a decent side and got in some good positions. I don’t know what the coach can do about having players who aren’t good enough to find the final pass or finish

I don’t know what the coach can do about having players who aren’t good enough to find the final pass or finish He could ask them to stop smashing it forward at every opportunity. That would be a start. And perhaps develop some combinations and partnerships that might enable us to move the ball up the pitch without launching it in the vague direction of Danny Ward.
