There is no doubt in my mind that Rudoni is maturing into a decent player.

Seemed to start the match well. His set piece delivery was looking good as well as his general play. When moved deeper he made a solid (if not spectacular) adjustment but the team struggled. I’d never expect him to be as strong as Hogg in that role and so we naturally lost something in that area. But we also lost something from not having him in a more advanced position. For me, Rudoni has been a really positive signing. He already adds a lot but I also have a sneaky suspicion that he also has exactly the attitude we will require. Gets moved from pillar to post for the good of the team , seemingly without complaint and always works hard in matches. I sincerely look forward to seeing him develop in the coming months and years. Agree with this. Liked the way that he got stuck in with Morris and then stood his ground when Morris got in his face - he’s got some bottle.

Clear size difference but stood up and fought. I half laughed but fully appreciated it.

He has potential, kid isn't even shaving yet
Needs some mature confident players around him to grow, he will in time

I thought he was one of our better players Saturday, making allowances for him having to change roles when Hogg went off and MF inexplicably brought Thomas on. But by heck the lad needs a goal for is confidence. I predict once he gets one he'll get a few in a shirt space of time.

I liked Ince his overall contribution that season was far greater than his G/A alluded to his work rate was the most surprising thing. Didn’t think he had that in his game before he came to town. Basically pushed VLP out of the team.

I liked Ince his overall contribution that season was far greater than his G/A alluded to I’ll honestly never understand this. He huffed and puffed but barely contributed anything imo…always did the basics well, ie passing it over 5 yards, but did you ever see him beat a man? Play a killer through ball?

Rudoni is the new Sinani. Won't realise how much he does until he isn't here anymore. I got dogs abuse for defending Sinani last year and would gladly receive the same pelters for saying Rudoni should be one of the 1st on the teamsheet.

Me too. Swapping him for Sobhi was just bizarre logic - indicative of that whole summer really. He's not done owt since we let him go though tbf Done a bell of a lot more than Sobhi. Don't get me wrong, that PL season ruined his career. When we signed him, he was as good as anything in Champ. In his head, he was ready to have a proper crack at PL. However, that first season showed him that he didn't quite have that extra pace and acceleration that you need at that level. Hence when he ended up back in Champ, he was nowhere near as good again as his desire to get back to top table was gone. Always had a great attitude though and worked hard for the team. Doing ok at Reading now

I have to concur on Rudoni although I thought in the Preston and Rotherham games he was decent but overall, he is, League One standard in all fairness.

Gonna be a great player, struggling in a shite team, but will continue to develop and you can see he’s improving all the time, I like him a lot!

Sinani knew the club and for the 1M price rumoured, we should have gone for him. Both in the squad would have been great.

Thank god we got rid of a guy who played a major part in an almost successful Championship play off campaign. 😂😂😂 There's some fucking numb nuts idiots on here, fair play, and you've joined the gang.

I genuinely don't rate him. He's a League One player. Poor first touch and physically weak. I have to concur on Rudoni although I thought in the Preston and Rotherham games he was decent but overall, he is, League One standard in all fairness. I’d strongly question whether that is “in all fairness” as I’d say to many it looks entirely unfair as an assessment. Last two matches we have looked pretty good whilst he has been on the pitch in something approaching his proper position. We’ve struggled a lot more when that hasn’t been the case. The second of those we had also lost Hogg and so I’m not going to allocate it entirely to that, but it was certainly true that even in attacking positions we just didn’t carry anywhere near the same level of threat. Pure coincidence ?
