A lifeline! Another three on Thursday and we might still have a chance. Still need to change the coach regardless. Why? They played with spirit and fight all afternoon and the subs had a big impact. 3 points away at Deepdale. What more do expect from him?

Might we lay of Fotheringham for a few days, if it’s his fault when we lose, then he deserves credit when we win also. Rudoni looked better today, thought we played well, good to see Hoggy back.

Think I’m a bit in love with brahima diarra, won us the game when he came on He was brilliant & completely turned the game on its head.

Firstly I am delighted for those who attended today, they certainly deserved to see that.
Secondly I am genuinely pleased for the players.
It is a much needed win but we still have a load to do to get out of this hole. But we had to start somewhere. Let's hope we keep it going.

Well I'm going to put a downer on things. In 88 we did win at Valley Parade and beat Citeh at home.
Freak results happen.😉

I think this is the first time in a long time I actually have some optimism that we can stay up. If we beat Rotherham on Thursday it should take us off bottom going into the new year which psychologically is massive Shame you and the young un will miss it…

You, along with the other crybaby posters, (you know who you are) are embarrassing and my great football club would be much better off without you. Well done Town.... Well done MF..... Sky's app has highlights of every Championship game bar ours atm 🙄 Probably because they switched the cameras off when Preston scored. Not usually any point keeping them on after town go behind 😂

Ana amazing result but until we scored we were abysmal. He obviously won't be sacked after this but the pressure is still very much on him IMO. Look at it without emotion. Lost by 1 goal to sheff u. and beaten Preston and QPR away from home. 2 best defenses in the league are Sheff U and Watford. Look at how often he's had to change the defense due to injuries etc. Look at how much better we played as soon as we scored a goal. Just shows how much the self confidence of the players can affect players ability. Win on Thursday and we are on track to get enough points per game to survive.

Until Diarra came on we were garbage, let's not sugarcoat it. However, all that matters now is winning games, in whatever way we can manage.
If, by some miracle we can stay up, Dean should be able to sell the club & we can, hopefully, move onwards & upwards.

We're down, the odd win every 2 months won't work. I hope you're not older than 15 if you're typing 'LOL'. Last 5: W2 D1 L2. And both wins away, so if we can settle at home there might be cause for a little optimism that we can climb away from the bottom 3. Home support has a big part to play.

So an excellent use of subs and game management away from home against a club doing well by MF then?

Fair point, and I agree we have had some difficult fixtures. After today the confidence should be sky high, a win against Rotherham and it can 100% turn our season around.

Please can we start the Rotherham game like we played 2nd half today. Higher up the pitch. Quicker movement, passing, and pressing. Please Mark? Let's not wait til we go behind this time eh? We are still bottom, and we need wins to get us out of this hole.

Watched the game today, saw a good performance, players all giving 100% for the shirt and the manager. Not Fozzy's fault that players are being sold from underneath him. Can't see the point in sacking him now, back the man and see if he can pull off the greatest escape ever.

A lifeline! Another three on Thursday and we might still have a chance. Still need to change the coach regardless. Why? They played with spirit and fight all afternoon and the subs had a big impact. 3 points away at Deepdale. What more do expect from him? You’re right however spirit and fight is the absolute bare minimum I expect. What more do I expect? I expect him to coach the team such that they look well organised and pose a threat going forward. I expect them to be able to pass to one and other and creat chances to score goals and have shots on target through open play. It would also be nice if he could stop falling out with every fooker cos we’re in a relegation battle and need everyone available, especially our best players. Also be nice if we could score some set pieces again as we did all last season with the same personnel, and defend them properly. Also learn how to change things to suit the opposition or the way the game is going, if it’s not working, change it. All things you expect from a quality championship coach and what you absolutely need when you have a tiny budget and weak squad. Really pleased with the three points but I just don’t think he keeps us up, we might bumble along and pick up odd points here and there but I don’t think it will be enough.
