Could it be the Kadra bloke, who is on loan at Sheff u but is hardly getting a game?
He was at Blackburn last season, looked really good , small but very creative and could get a goal. Looked good when we played them.

He looked a talent He did i was thinking where the heck did they get him, then i found out and i was hoping town would be all over that last summer.
Sheff u have Doyle/Mactee and him on loan, its scary to be honest , how much talent they have in that one position. Kadra would be a quaility singing for us, if Brighton want him to be playing week in week out that is.

You never know where you might spot a talent. At the Epsom & Ewell v Chessington & Hook local derby at Leatherhead with the five-year old grandson who has started to get the football bug. The E&E no. 7 is really catching the eye, a proper old fashioned winger that loves to dribble with the ball and can deliver a cross. Don’t know his name but I’ll look to find out as he looks a prospect. Jaevon Dyer, Chris. Scored 6 in 12 starts since making debut in August. Really, that him? Where did you see that? Just back home after dropping off the grandson, I’ll have to check out his programme now. Surprise 3-1 win for C&H though, against the table toppers. Edit- just seen the Twitter reports on the match. Yeah, no. 7 Jaevon Dyer. I should notify the club about him. No harm done.

Obviously Baldwin getting us in with a few players. He's a well liked bloke generally, so probably at least matey with the likes of Barnes and Knockhart and Lowton from his Burnley days.

Only the following players appear to fit the bill (initials [AB/AK], position, senior players) in the EFL*:
Ashley Barnes. Amadou Bakayoko
*taken from a review of the EFLs confirmed squad registrants as of September 22.

Knockaert played for Burnley? That aside, I’m not sure Knockaert would be any fitter than Mahoney given his recent injury record; he only made 4 apps (a total of 22 minutes) in the EFL last season and yet to play over 45 mins this season in Greek Super League (6 apps). He has quality, but surely he’s not the target.

Amadou Bakayoko *taken from a review of the EFLs confirmed squad registrants as of September 22. Notable players in Premier League 2 (u21) that aren’t already on loan. Abou Kamara (Norwich, 8 goals in 7, yet to make a start in the seniors). I personally didn’t identify any players on the periphery of any EPL’s squads.

Ashley barnes is 1 of the targets but a few deals need to fall into place for that to happen. Another player player from overseas and matt Lowton is ours on loan if we want him. Town having a good look at him before making a decision.

Lowton was at canalside yesterday- therefore i do not think town need to "have a look at him" remember this is a football club, who signed connor Mahony off 14 apperances in 4 years. Lawton last season played games in the prem. I think with him been at canalside yesterday the fact is we want him.

Burnley won’t sell barnes, they only have him and Rodriguez as their strikers plus he is 33 years old rather have a striker at the club who is under the age of 30😂

Barnes running around elbowing everyone in the face is just what we need. Is Alan Lee available too?

Town having a good look at him before making a decision. What's the deal with overseas players now. Aren't they really hard deals to do unless they are full internationals like Yuta?

Whilst he adds some much needed experience, Barnes is way past it, don’t think that will be a good signing personally. Lowton is a good signing

Both Lowton and Barnes (if true) seem like streetwise signings. Many years experience at a higher level and would add quality to our squad .
Plus , beggars can’t be choosers

Agree, we went for too much youth in the summer. Barnes has the look of a Grant Holt signing, we don’t necessarily need him to score loads but to be someone to play off.
