Maybe a match to run with Diarra from the off, if he can get a bit of space his pace maybe key.

Preston was welcome bonus, losing to Rotherham whom we are expected to beat would a big set back considering they are one of the favourites for relegation too.......would you agree? Expected to beat? Yes I'd say so. Put it this way, if we don't target a win in a home game against Rotherham we might as well give up now.

Big game this one tonight. Have we had two wins on the bounce this season? It won’t be a season defining game, but I feel we have lost too many games at home, especially to teams we could have beaten.
My team would be ; Nichols Thomas Helik lees Boyle Ruffels (no-one else) Hoggy (what a difference he makes and doesn’t get enough credit from us) Kasuma Holmes , Rhodes, Rudhoni
The problem area is the left hand side.
High coming back. I guess that’s because he isn’t playing and gives MF a chance to look at him.
I will be watching from from the north - east , we need to win as the Newcastle fans (including my son-in-law) are getting on my nerves. They are convinced they will be the next Man City. I hope not.
Happy New year town fans!

UTFT Not one for blowing my own trumpet, but I did post on PNE thread if any captain could emulate the legend Jimmy Nicholson & lead Town to victory at Deepdale, then it would be Jonathan Hogg........just shows how much we need Hoggy injury free to have a chance of survival.. UTT.

4 points from the next two home games gives us real hope this is our opportunity to get out of the mess.... the players need to grasp the chalice and the fans need to support ...from the moment they emerge onto the grass bring the noise

Will Rotherham having Wiles missing tonight help us, or it will it just inspire Rotherham ?

"Grasp the chalice"? Surely you mean "grasp the nettle"? You should, anyway...

You can, but... a) nobody mentioned poison b) the accepted saying is most definitely "grasp the nettle"Anyway, enough of pedantic semantics.

the only change i could think of making to the team, is to drop Kasmu out and bring diarra in. I would like town to try and get on the front foot and force Rotherham back.I do not think we need two holding midfielders when we have 3 centreh halfs and hogg in that area. We should try and get the wing backs as high as possible and fre up space in the middle for Diarra and Rudoni in the pockets.

Just been down for an extra ticket. It looks a trifle moist down there.

Keep the sage starting 11 for me
Diarra, Thomas and Simpson coming off the bench
At the moment I think Brahima is better coming off the bench and being an impact player. If MF starts him then I hope what I’ve written is a croc of shit and he scores a couple and makes a couple 😂

I hope if MF starts him, he plays him in the 10 role in the pocket , where his low sense of gravity can be very effective in the pocket. I do feel playing him out wide loses his real running jinking quailities .

1-0 will do tonight just as it would on Sunday, our goal difference isn't horrendous, to be honest, no one's is aside from Wigan on -14.

Maybe a match to run with Diarra from the off, if he can get a bit of space his pace maybe key. Agreed. Looking at a few of Rotherham highlights they look vulnerable to someone running at them like he can. If he doesn't start he's got to make the bench at least, because he could really cause them problems. On balance I'd like to see him come off the bench against tired legs, but would not object to him starting at all.

otherwise it's a stream...the last one 'someone' posted for the Watford game was excellent...I should have stored it
