I don't know about standing outside of the stadium with banners etc however we absolutely need to make our voices heard about the current shitshow somehow. It's like the board are standing there with their fingers in their ears going lalalalala

Have 1 at Blackpool, storm the centre circle at half time, (not if we are winning though!!)

Serious question: what is the point? We are up for sale. We are in the process of finding new owners. What exactly would anyone hope to achieve? A quicker sale? Unlikely to say the least.
If anyone thinks people at the club want to be in this position, they need to give their heads a shake. Yes, pretty much every person at the club has made mistakes. But it's been compounded by the complicating factor that the club is still technically owned by Phil Hodgkinson and everything is being slowed up by that. We're in this position where the club has been propped up by someone who doesn't own it, incurring debts that make it less attractive to prospective buyers. So the aim has to be to keep debts down while doing enough on the pitch to attract buyers. That's the reality of the financial situation. People blaming Hoyle for Corberan's leaving need to realise that the above is the main reason we didn't have the money Corberan felt he should have in the summer. If Hodgkinson was around, maybe it would be different, but his financial situation is ultimately the root cause of our issues, and those at the club now are not in a position to deal with it. The whole club has a millstone around its neck until it is resolved.
No, the people at the club haven't covered themselves in glory. From the Director of Football Operations down mistakes have been made. We need a reset in terms of personnel, but we can't just get rid of those in place when we're on sale. Bring in someone new and they could be out of the door in moments once the new owner is in. So we're saddled until new ownership arrives - hamstrung by the Hodgkinson/Hoyle situation. At that point we can have a clearing of the decks and a reset. Hopefully whoever comes in clears the debts and has a bit of money behind them to deal with the realities of a drop into League One, with drops in revenue and value.
So I say again: what will a protest help? Because it'll change absolutely none of the above.

There is literally zero point. Criticism fell on deaf ears without the club up for sale, there is nothing that makes me think that criticism will be listened to with the club up for sale.
Vote with your feet and don’t fund the clowns in charge.

Next season is a whole different matter however.

Imagine if we get relegated and MF and LB are still here. You could probably lay across the seats just in case you needed a mid match nap.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the rumours about the American investors are actually false. They need to get sales somehow and I think intriguing people with that kind of thing is one of the only ways they are going to sell. We were given a load of shit this time last year about DH asking Carlos to give him a decision to make. Then it was followed up by him promising to give funds for this season. Subsequently CC left because he wasn’t given any funds at all.

Our football club is now showing the results of chronic mismanagement from the top and a need to look after personal interests rather than club interests. This downfall has been evident to us fans for a while now, why not to the club? Action is needed. #HTAFC
This is what Cowshed Loyal had to say on Twitter
I think we need to take some sort of action this weekend such as protests, banners, chants etc

As Terriersmad pointed out, the club is up for sale. I think there is a degree of apathy also because we’ve all see this end result coming for months, we can see where we are potentially heading, yet the club isn’t acting on it. Maybe MF has been promised the job until the end of the season regardless? Who knows?

Is the protest aimed at Dean Hoyle, or the club in general.

I’m not sure they know anymore. Probably was Hoyle initially, now we lost Saturday most likely Fotheringham, if we win probably the guy who stewards the club shop door.

Administration might be the best option for the club. If Phil doesn’t want to give up what is unrightfully his, Dean, as the clubs biggest creditor could put it into admin. Of course, the Administrators for Mr Hodgkinsons company won’t be happy, as they are probably trying to do the same thing.
I’m afraid the best route out of this situation might not be pretty.

Do you not think admin might be in the clubs best interest longer term but Dean is pumping in just enough to avoid it because admin is not in his interests. He seems reluctant to write off his investment even though common sense would say no one will ever stump up £40 million for a bottom end championship club with no assets.
