I prefer Holmes as he can carry the ball and is slightly quicker than Rudoni. Not that the lad's done much wrong. Is he quicker ? He's 6" shorter so his legs have to go more to cover the same ground. Rudoni is, apparently, now the in the lead in assists and is our only decent dead ball taker. Yeah, he's quicker. Rudoni is skilful and can find a yard of space in a telephone box, but for getting from one end to the other Holmes is quicker and more decisive. Issues with his end product, but better to relieve pressure with him. And he's played reasonably well this season, which is more than can be said for many others.

Just a thought, if we do let Fotheringham go, we have the same people in place making the decision on who will replace him. Also remember that they are also responsible for putting Schofield into that position a short time before. What are the chances that they will have reviewed their selection criteria and will look for something different this time around rather than just who will cost us less. Hopefully Bromby would be out too, how much say did Baldwin get in Buzz getting appointed ? I’m led to believe that Baldwin is pulling the strings now, certainly on recent player recruitment, as he thinks LB is hopeless. Now whether Baldwin was involved in the process to bring Fotheringham in, not sure. Was he even in the building at the time? And if he was, he’d only just have arrived so I’m guessing his involvement there was only minor.

I agree with everything here except I would swap Holmes for Rudoni in the starting xi, and Simpson for Kamberi on bench. I prefer Holmes as he can carry the ball and is slightly quicker than Rudoni. Not that the lad's done much wrong. Holmes always better off the bench for me but its a close one. at least we agree to go to a proper back 4

For me, this is undoubtedly the biggest game of the season so far. Desperately need a good response to last Saturday, so how confident are we? As our hero Nick would have said.... "Its a must win game". We miss his wise worms, don't we? Oh aye, he could come up with some crackers, our Nick

We need to be braver all over the pitch, including Fotheringham on the sidelines.
Five at the back and a defensively minded midfield, with Rhodes isolated about three miles from his nearest teammate, just won't cut it.

He won't drop his back 5 that's for sure. He will always hang his hat on our defence being half decent.

Would take a 5-0 defeat if it results in the deluded one being sacked after the game. He stops then we are down, no if’s or but’s. I'd rather we won 5-0 personally, maybe im a bit odd.

Vaclik Lowton Helik Pearson Lees Ruffels Kasumu Hogg Camara Turton Rhodes as the only attacking player we have in the oppositions half.
Buzz will then come out with "we dominated for long periods and had qpr against the ropes"
2 0 qpr in a absolute borefest where we shut up shop from minute 1 to the end and make them look like Real Madrid.
Get this guy gone

So who's going to start then? Any thoughts? The vibe from watching that just isn't right. the keepers sessions always look loads of fun on these videos. different every time, lots of positive reinforcement every time from Clements as well. The one Fotheringham and Miller were leading seemed simple and old fashioned by comparison- Jesus wept did you see the 2 v 2s with everyone else standing around! How often do 2 v 2s actually happen in front of goal? No wonder we never do any third man runs during matches

Nothing wrong with wanting your team to win, I guess I am a sad old git that has let this seasons depths get to me! I have never taken to MF and I think that won’t change, but at the end of the day with my serious head on, all that matters now is us getting up that table to safety. No doubt the rest will be taken care of when our new owners come in, if that happens to be this century!

I have to say I would never want Town to loose 5 0 particularly as a win could well take us out of the bottom 3 (on goal difference I agree) with what 18 games left to save our skins. Really don’t get that thought that someone would be happy to loose at home 5 0. !!

Massive week starting Saturday. If MF wants to get the fans onside we need to attack these games with intent.
No excuses now. He's got the players he feels will get us up the table, it's upto him now to implement the tactics to get the job done.
Between QPR, Blackpool & Wigan, over the last 6 game form table, they've failed to win any games between them and conceded 34 goals combined.
Front foot, high energy, attacking football please.

I think Blackpool will be a different proposition now to what they would have been in the 1st game, they have an experienced manager, whether you rate him or not, have also made some decent signings, be interesting to see how they get on at Middlesbrough.
