Happy to wait and see.
This is a forum, I know, but speculation like this really passes me off, as dors forecasting the team for the next game, the whole of the transfer thread etc etc.
What's up with just waiting for the inevitable?

Won't be anyone in work, because if they are a desirable prospect it must mean they are doing well. And if they are doing well, why would they swap to come here?! I'm sure that when we appointed MMF we could've got Paul Warne from Rotherham - but that's water under the bridge now.
Wilder would seem to be the ideal appointment, but he may be looking for longer-term stability.

So why come to this board, open a thread called 'Next Town manager' and then bother to post then?!

Malky McKay - the Scottish theme seems to have resonated with the fanbase so let's give it another try

Pisses you off? I think we are all “happy to wait & see” but if you can’t speculate who the next town manager might be on here then what should we discuss?

Anyone but Warnock!
Well, not anyone, but you get my drift.
Please do not forget the perfidious way he walked out on us before.

Reality: who is going to want it? Hundreds. Haven't you seen how much we pay for a new and inexperienced coach? They should be queuing around the block.

Steve Evans doing a cracking job this season. Love to see him sprinting down the touchline while his pants fall down There are specialist websites that cater for that kind of stuff.

Ideally I think we need someone with championship experience to help steady the ship and keep us up.
In reality, I don't know who would be desperate enough to accept the job right now!

You know what I wouldn’t mind Marsch they have been playing some nice football with some good results just lost some games by short margins which might work in championship rather than prem 🤷🏻♀️ Dean having an absolute heart attack at his wage demands. Plus he’s won about four games this season.

I’ve heard that they interested in the bloke who sometimes runs the line for Netherton Juniors under 14’s B team. Be careful who you wish for, I’ve done that job 😂

I will do it. Least admins would have trouble banning me when my language gets a little colourful. Great comms. I would create drama on the touch line, I would insist on 25 takes of rudhoni taking corners - least we would surely get at least one decent delivery.

Warnock on a short-term till the end of the season. Then re-group and appoint knowing which division we are in and hopefully with a completed takeover and appeal to / appoint a manager who knows their position.
There's no option that makes better sense.

I've said it constantly but I'd love to see Gareth Ainsworth here. Has punched above his weight with Wycombe and can get the best out of an average group of players. I don't think it will be him though! I'd be on board with him coming in in Summer, think we need a more experienced head to save us this season though. I'm still on Team Warnock.

There's no option that makes better sense. There is. Somebody who has worked much more recently and is at least 20 years younger. Don't discount how much hard work there will be.

They need to see the merits of Wilder and their project regardless of the division we’re in.

And are they as low risk as a short-term appointment under the circumstances? Would they want to take us on for that matter? I'm by no means saying this is a simple job. I just think its a superb option given the uncertainties around league position, takeover etc. Warnock just wouldn't care about the graft and not wanting / having a long-term position. I'd take Wilder, no bother. I am not sure we are what he wants / is looking for.

Either:
Warnock - just to watch saintlyterrier implode Cowley - just to watch porrohman implode Chicho - just to watch hthp implode
In all seriousness, let's just give it to Wilder. Hoping there's a reason he's just turned down Aberdeen, and maybe Baldwin had given him a nudge.

We just had to offer better wages than Rotherham.

Really don't think we will give it to anyone on a long term basis especially with the club up for sale, Narcis till the end of the season I reckon.
