This is a really sensible suggestion. She wouldn't accept though. But she would not take any shit! It's a bit different managing a group of women who struggle with the absolute basics to running training sessions for pro male footballers. I know it's like a broken record but Town would stick 50 goals past England women. And that's just the first half

Well... Town do try to do things differently. That would certainly get some media space.

Wilder for me. Give him a good wage with a big bonus for keeping us up, to tempt him

I'm a big fan of Leam Richardson. Comes across well and did well at Wigan in the main.

Difficult one this. Do we give it someone with a big bonus for keeping us up knowing new owners may want their own man. So a Warnock or Allardyce who would be happy with that. Would a Gerrard or Lampard want it to rebuild their rep of they kept us up? But how much would they cost? Or do we go with a Wilder/Smith etc who could do the job and hopefully new owners keep them. Gerard or Lampard? 😂 Not a chance under the current ownership. That’s like leeds fans thinking they’re getting Poch or Tuchel. It’s ideally suited for Warnock, tons of Championship experience and likes a short term deal. Wilder would be a very good appointment but the instability off the field might put him off. Gareth Ainsworth would have been my choice after Corberan left but now’s not the time for another (relatively) inexperienced manager. Always assuming anyone coming in would be til the end of the season, I’d say anyone with prior experience of managing in the Championship is a must, someone who can both motivate and have us playing a bit which I believe we have the players to do. Absolutely no more “projects”, no more 3rd team coaches from Germany certainly at this point in time. Not a lot of that going around. Discounting Lampard, those out of work are Wilder, Hughton, Bowyer (shudder) and Dean Smith. I suppose Nathan Jones might be available soon, but surely we've had enough of delusional halfwits?

I’d quite like someone who has been a manager/head coach before.
I’d also like someone who has managed at this level before. Is that too much to ask?

I think what might put a few candidates off is the compulsory and traditional requirement to have a scrap with Hoggy within three weeks of taking over.

Although i dont think its going to happen if Jones did leave southampton would it be such a bad move for us, who cares if hes an odious little scrote who looks like a back street drug dealer, if he did for us what he did for Luton i'd be very pleased indeed.
