the real idiots are the ones that fall for the one liners each time

Our second black manager, one of very few clubs to have appointed more than one black manager in their history. Moore was racially abused during his time at Wednesday by his own fans, I just hope our fans do nothing of the sort. Which is all well and good but this isn’t a box ticking exercise. No, it's history.

47.9 win % at West Brom (48 games) 44.9 win % at Doncaster (78 games) 51.2 win % at Wednesday (255 games) Well liked by players and fans alike. What a miserable set of fans we have! what was that Warnock quote about being passed over for jobs due to his style of football, 'don't you like winning games?'

If it is Moore, which seems increasingly likely, it all seems a bit off to me.
As mentioned by others, he has been available all summer so why wait until now?
I think what has really happened here is after Nagle and Warnock clashed the other week they decided to get rid and plucked Moore as the best available option.
I don't buy their nonsense about the "right candidate becoming available", "now is the right time", "three year plan".
This is a huge gamble and can see this blowing up in their faces quickly and badly.

IF this is true, utterly underwhelming. We’re going back to the days of Chris Powell and Andy Ritchie here. Total stupidity by the club if we’ve gotten rid of Warnock for Moore.

Had a shocker if that’s true. Why would you get rid of Warnock for a guy binned off by Wednesday? binning him off went really well for Wendies didn't it...

If the plan was run of the mill, surely you keep warnock until pre-season next year and give the new guy a chance.... We are relegation certainties with moore in charge, because the goodwill of the fans will be fucking zero. bull shit Have you failed to read the room also? You would do well sitting on the board with the other clowns. I hope the cowshed boys have dusted off the clowns running our club bedsheets.......

Puzzling appointment especially given he’s been out of work since June which contradicts what was said by Cartwright and Nagle. They said they needed some continuity until they got things in place, hence Warnock staying on. They then needed to go through the interview process.

I’m not remotely “pleasantly surprised” by this news if correct.

If it’s Darren Moore then it proves Warnock was sacked because of the transfer fall out And that we don’t really have a a plan at all In any way shape or form What a shambles

Swapping Neil Warnock for Darren Moore is like swapping a classing Jaguar for a Dacia Duster. Appalling by the club.
They are blatantly gaslighting us now with this appointment. Moore crawled across the line with Wednesday with a massive squad and budget in league 1 and lets not forget got out tactic'd by Peterborough in first leg. Barnsley out played them with 10 men too.
Claim it's all a plan, but really it's all about subordination and Nagle's narcissistic nature.
If this happens they can piss off.

Did Darren Moore get Wednesday promoted?
Never mind, "he only did it because of X Y Z", did he get them promoted?

it was a fake account talking about moore , it was a very obvious fake account . It’s not. Thank christ for that. I've hated the dirty bastard ever since he crippled Barry Horne when we played Bradford!

If he was paid off by Wednesday there is often a contractual stipulation that you cannot work for another club for X amount of games. Perhaps that was 3 months long which would have ended yesterday by my calculations. I think if you are sacked versus “left my mutual consent” type deal is where these obligations come into play. Who knows. Not overly buzzing by it but will give him a chance.

Always comes across as a decent bloke - moore (ptp) than happy to get behind him, although i still think we've taken a massive risk UTT Chris Powell was a decent bloke, bang average manager though. Met Chris twice on the same train journey from East Midlands Parkway when going to watch Town at Bournemouth/WHU, a really pleasant bloke......Said some nice stuff about us 'loyal' Town fans.

Did Darren Moore get Wednesday promoted? Never mind, "he only did it because of X Y Z", did he get them promoted? He certainly did. I bet most Wednesday fans would have him back in a heartbeat aswell.

Excited by the thought of a fresh start and direction by the club, new owner, boardroom and manager…
And then I remember we have a squad which has stumbled across the first few games having stayed up by the skin of their teeth last season thanks to Warnock’s miracle. We are far from safe and bringing in a new coach at this point in the season heaps a lot of pressure on them.

Football won’t be great tends to prioritise defending.Tactically he’s average and in game maybe not even average, reacts to situations rather than been pro active. Also said can’t see it been long term as fans probably get fed up of the football. I’m happy to wait and see although from what edwards said not everything ties in. Not naive enough to think that was Just opportunity came about and ready for long term plan, defo think there will have been some form of issue(s) with warnock behind the scenes too. Hopefully it doesn’t backfire. Has to be judged on how he performs though rather than writing him off before he starts because it’s not that exciting.

Do we have put up with been told his black every single time we get any press coverage like we did with Powell? *being *he's And if we do, so what? Why would that bother you? Until there is a more balanced ratio of non-white managers, it will always be a story. How does that inconvenience you? how is it more of an inconvenience than being told Wagner and Klopp were mates 5 times a week?

It might not even be Moore yet, Nixon doesn't have the best track record with us.
IF it is Moore he'll get my full backing.

Just to make sure they aren’t setting themselves up for a move in advance. If it is Moore perhaps he had a date of the international break for instance. Could be a huge amount of money he’d lose.
