Did Darren Moore get Wednesday promoted? Never mind, "he only did it because of X Y Z", did he get them promoted? At least he’ll be the right guy to get us out of League One next season if it all goes tits up. |

Do we have put up with been told his black every single time we get any press coverage like we did with Powell? *being *he's And if we do, so what? Why would that bother you? Until there is a more balanced ratio of non-white managers, it will always be a story. How does that inconvenience you? how is it more of an inconvenience than being told Wagner and Klopp were mates 5 times a week? What if you thought that was irritating as well? along the lines of Wayne Rooney's Derby County etc. I am sure Moore just wants to be Darren Moore, manager of HTFC not Darren Moore, black manager of HTFC |

Chris Powell was a decent bloke, bang average manager though. Met Chris twice on the same train journey from East Midlands Parkway when going to watch Town at Bournemouth/WHU, a really pleasant bloke......Said some nice stuff about us 'loyal' Town fans. I met him too, a really great and approachable guy but that doesn’t win you football matches. What’s he doing now? |

Puzzling appointment especially given he’s been out of work since June which contradicts what was said by Cartwright and Nagle. I thought we were all just meant to believe every word without question? |

He crawled over the line in the play-offs despite having the most talented squad in the league They finished on 96 points, would have been top two in pretty much every other season in living memory, league one last time out was a freak event. Yes, they nearly blew it in the semi against Posh but they managed to pull off the comeback. If that had been Town none of us would be calling for a manager to go for that. They also got a bit lucky in the final with the late winner, but we hardly have room to talk about scraping through play-offs do we? Doesn't matter how you win them as long as you win them. |

If it's Darren Moore then it seems to me an incredibly risky move. Is he the best we can get? I like the fact Nagle is being bold and I'll back the new manager 100% but he surely gives us a lower chance of staying up than Warnock, and isn't the sort of high-profile name that would even unite let alone galvanise the fans. There will be a complete meltdown on here, which clearly doesn't matter, but that might carry over into the ground. And one of the reasons given for getting rid of Warnock was that the new man was now available. Moore has been available all along. |

Sounds like I'm in the minority but appointing a manager that achieved 97 points last season and a play off final win, coupled with win percentages in the late 40s and early 50s, seems like a good move.

Waiting for the right man to become available.......Moore was SACKED on June 19th, can't be him. Maybe Moore wasn't available, maybe he wanted a break after being sacked and decided he's ready now, and his agent has just started touting him over the last few weeks. Aye. Suddenly available immediately after twittergate. I'll check with the fairies at the bottom of my garden. |
