I've heard it's not Moore It is. Please dont put out the faint glimmer of hope..... The only premier league we will be in over the next 3 years is the one of worst appointments......

Two different points -1. Was it right to move on from Warnock ? - on pure football terms the answer is no because no one else would get as much out of the team than him. Long term plans for a manager of a club our size don’t work - either the replacement does badly and is sacked or does well and chooses to move on. Only real explanation would be things behind the scenes which have been alluded to - without evidence impossible to say whether the club have done the right thing. 2. Is Darren Moore the right appointment ? - whoever was to take over will be compared negatively to Warnock. His record is ok and bo worse than all the others mentioned. Fans need to get behind him and give him a chance otherwise we are looking at self fulfilling prophecies.

I've heard it's not Moore It is. It is. Someone itk has just texted me and I trust him 100%. Enjoy tonight and then who knows? Poor appointment in my eyes, not horrendous, ie Marsche, Pardew, Jones, etc, and he is at least a likeable character but beyond that, no.

Met Chris twice on the same train journey from East Midlands Parkway when going to watch Town at Bournemouth/WHU, a really pleasant bloke......Said some nice stuff about us 'loyal' Town fans. I met him too, a really great and approachable guy but that doesn’t win you football matches. What’s he doing now? since leaving us been on the coaching team for Leicester in Prem , Totttenham and England.

He's a step up from some of the dildos we've had managing us in the last five years, that's for certain.

It may be that the new regime are working out who they can trust. If only 3 knew last night, word may have passed down with 3 names given out, each to different people, that way they'd learn if there's anyone they can't trust.

*being *he's And if we do, so what? Why would that bother you? Until there is a more balanced ratio of non-white managers, it will always be a story. How does that inconvenience you? how is it more of an inconvenience than being told Wagner and Klopp were mates 5 times a week? It’s not That was equally as annoying. Apologies for the grammar and….. when we sacked Powell you’d think we were all walking round in pointy white hats with all the snide press comments

Will you resurrect it if we're in league 1 next season, either ? We won't be! Lot of premature talk of relegation. Remember how bad the 2 before NW were. The squad isn't as bad as people make out. That's supposing the new bloke is as good as NW 🤷

I'm not too disappointed with Moore although I hoped for a more well known face like Rooney. What I do believe is that this shows the decision to replace Warnock was 100% down to tweetgate.

There is unnecessary risk associated to doing it so early in the season, plus the opportunity cost because who would bet against challenging for top six with Warnock in charge? The original plan seemed to be Christmas at the absolute earliest. Personally I think it should have been left until the league position was stable and there was no chance of troubling the top six. As things stand we're barely out of the bottom three, it's such a competitive league, squad is still weak and is punching above it's weight imo. Bringing a new man in now risks relegation IMO unless it's someone very experienced. I think that a manager suddenly became available and that there is a short window of opportunity to employ them before they move on. However, I'm really hoping that they didn't panic with 4 games gone and started looking at all those out of work managers. Nevertheless, perhaps people need to look at the former reason which should narrow the field down quite a bit. If they get this wrong and it all turns to rats, Kevin M Nagle and cohorts will be held accountable by fans for shifting out one of the greatest post-war managers we've had. We will soon find out if they paniced or not.

Perfect Management Team - Neil Warnock & Rocket Ronnie Jepson - crazy decision - UTT. Quote from Neil when he took over 'Happy to help the club stabilise through the transitional period' Takeover complete New people in higher up That is a transition complete. It was the plan. Whether we like it or not. Moaning like little children about it is getting boring. We would have all loved Neil to have stayed, but he isn't. I really hope whoever comes in does the job, can already see a lot of you queuing with pitchforks before we even know who it is. I cannot wait to resurrect this thread in time when you all have egg on your faces and think of how cringe some on your comments have been. You just can't help yourself can you, when you address people that don't share your opinions you have to come out with a sneering tone. I bet you pull your tongue out like a little girl when you can't find the words to say. Please try and grow up a little before you post again.

Is there a competition for the most hysterical over-reaction to each rumour? There's been some magnificent efforts so far. I’ll miss them when the new manager is announced

If Moore had replaced Fotheringham i think we’d all of taken that, i would any way. It’s the fact it’s not Warnock that’s upset/confused/angered me. If Ronald McDonald had replaced Fotheringham I think we'd all have taken that. I would anyway.

A couple of golden buzzers have been hit already and the posters are working on their material for Friday's final.

One of the rare occasions when hyperbole is accurate. 2 of last season's managers were truly awful, the other was fantastic. Moore is neither. Good, but he's no Warnock imo. My concern is that Warnock papering over the cracks has given the board an inflated idea of how strong the squad is.

Think there is any chance we could get Lee Carsley?....mentioned on the AHTTC podcast.....that could be very interesting.... Would be a brilliant appointment. But it looks like it's Darren Moore. Who is a perfectly acceptable appointment too (and imo better than some of the more fashionable names being bandied about).
