Rudoni is one of the least effective forward players I’ve seen, he tries ill give him that. He tries and he gets involved. That's more than most of our midfield do. Agreed but Holmes is twice the player imo. |

Gambled on doing this season on the cheap all started with thinking our academy coach had what it takes to lead this side and it's just got worse and worse from there. Could write a book on this seasons failings.And sing a few songs as well of this season’s failings... Down Down and Going Underground for starters ! |

How about try attacking formation, play with two up or get two fast wingers in place such as Hungbo and Koroma. This one up front and don’t let the midfield travel across the halfway line is not and has not worked. The tactics of one up front are just regurgitated but with different personnel. It ain’t worked all season so try something else for **** sake. That was embarrassing! Wouldn’t Crichlow, Russell and Thomas improve this side?! Honestly, Crichlow is a League 2 player, Russell can't actually move and Sorba was awful. A fully fired up Sorba would improve the side but not the others. |

Well that was absolutely dire - we look completely shot. It wasn't a red card for Boyle in a million years, but you know how those decisions go when you're near the bottom. It was certainly game over after that, if not before frankly. I'm starting to view Fotheringham slightly more kindly given our subsequent collapse. I'm not 100% convinced about the appointment of Warnock to the end of the season, as I think we're too far gone. Given that we seem fairly nailed on to go down, we're going to end up looking for a manager after the end of the season (assuming Warnock doesn't stay on), yet again we'll be in a position where we're eating into the preparations for next year and compromising our ability to make future signings. Euccchhhhh. A COMPLETELY justified red card for Boyle : My wife : "their player is standing over Boyle trying to goad him" Me (rather patronisingly) " yes dear, but Boyle's a very experienced footballer he's far too wise to rise to that...he's already got a yellow card. Do you think he's stupid or something ?" 33 seconds later ...!!!!!! You couldn't make it up. |

Medals for trying hard is great but a team of jack rudoni level players would have us rooted to the bottom of the league with less than 10 points Have you looked at the table ? We've got League 1 defenders, League 1 midfielders and District league strikers That was my point |

Or a yellow I didn't think. Certainly not given what the ref decided to let go subsequently. The first yellow was the soft one IMO. The second looked like the elbow was to Gayle's head. Only saw both incidents once. |

A horrible turbulent season riddled with mistakes. I get some players being low on confidence and some being mentally fatigued. However its beyond that. There's no application, no effort and no attempt to try find some form. We have just taken 2 points from 12 against 4 of the 5 worst teams we are going to play. We had an XG of 0.2 against Wigan and 0.15 tonight. That's unforgivable.

Well, always best to have a 15 min breather before posting but well…………not sure what to say/add here.
An earlier post stated Blackpool was poor, Wigan worse but this is a whole new level of awfulness.
Can Neil work with this team / squad ? Totally shot , Hogg my Mr Solid but even for him, terrible.
Let’s just plan for League 1 ……..simple then.
But how can we defend where we are at? Boyle is clearly just not clever, but with 11 and one down there was a glimmer …….so sad. How 500+ fans went is beyond me but hats off to them.
Off to watch some paint dry…….

Clubs never been right since Wagner left. Wagner probably got out of his depth in his final season so we should have pushed on higher, someone with even more experience. But no, we got Jan fucking Siewert.
Got to be one of the worst appointments in association football history. Just above Fotheringham.
