How many players do we have in their prime 24-30?
Those should be the core of any good side with bit of experience and younger players learning trade / potential alongside
The squad is made up of too many players either side of that - and those in their prime bar the odd exception are not up to scratch
Recipe for failure

I'm definitely in the camp of trying to be positive but that was depressing. A team devoid of the slightest confidence with zero goal threat.
Warnock has a huge job but I have to have confidence he can eke enough extra out of a few to make the difference.
I think our senior players at the moment need to look at themselves and recognise their responsibility to lead. Hogg is just really poor, Lees not the player of last season, Lowton isn't showing anything. Lads like rudoni are getting stick but they need support from the experienced players

God help us when we play Burnley, Watford, Boro etc we have just played four poor teams and come away with 2 points' We have a dire injury situation and the recruitment has been very poor and a complete clear out is needed from top to bottom.

We’re all desperate for you to say Chicho is shit for the 63rd time Do you think these last two performances, that he's overseen, have been good? Have you been able to work out what system or what tactics he's employing? Can you understand why he's playing a goalkeeper that needs a wheelchair, or a centre half at right back when there's a right back on the bench? There's opinions and all the rest of it, but I'm hardly wide of the mark about his capabilities, am I?

We need to look at the bigger picture as no manager could save the club from relegation with this bad squad
This could be a big problem as where does the club go when the departing Hoyle decides to stop funding the clubs debts

Which idiot arranged a B team game on the same day as an away game, leaving Simpson and Harratt creating and scoring goals in Huddersfield and the first team in Stoke

Never gives up but has no quality, never affects a game and has no end product. Fits in seamlessly to the rest of the squad Again, true. League One fodder, if that.

Fozzy ball was better than Chico tactics and that is saying something, thank god we didn’t appoint him as our new manager

I like Chicho, but to pick that starting line up after recent performances is baffling.
These players are done mentally. I think a Warnock bollocking will push some of them over the edge

We need to hope and pray that we get some of these injured players back. That list is ridiculous. Did I read somewhere that Nakayama is back in training? Oh to have Anjorin and Nakayama! Oh to have a half decent side 🤣 🔵⚪🔵

Holmes at his best is shite Let's not start this Holmes thread again Porroh. I think it's been generally accepted since his "return" that he's as bad a purchase/waste of a big wage as anyone. Okey dokey, I didn't really want to get into it again anyway.

Warnock’s biggest problem is going to be finding enough fit players to cover all the positions. Centre backs and fullbacks dropping like flies. Not a fit striker worth the title. A knackered goalkeeper. I hope he realises the size of the task because it is massive.

How’s that change of mood going? Swear he’s bipolar. Right. For someone being bi-polar is not a joke. I am Not. Admins you happy that this poster feels it’s okay to mock people with a mental illness ?

Well that was death by a thousand cuts. If it wasn’t for the genuine small business that would miss out, take Administration and let’s just rebuild from scratch. Don't talk fucking daft. There's a few of us old enough to remember the last time we were in administration. As am I.

It’s really disappointing how we’ve lost the ability to do the basics, and how injuries continue to kick us while we’re down. Warnock is the right man for the challenge though, he’s done it multiple times before, sure he’s got plenty to think about after tonight.

We have struggled all season to create chances in open play.
I honestly think Neil's best chance is to pick the tallest players we have, i.e Camara in midfield, Hudlin & Simpson up front, whack every ball to the corner flag & try to push the opposition into giving away corners & free kicks.
It doesn't matter how shit Hudlin & Simpson are, no striker gets any service anyway, as our only chance of scoring is set pieces, let's increase our chances by picking a big team

Genuine question for those who were there.....when we had our first shot, did you sing "how shit must you be, we had a shot"
Kind of hope you did, as it sums us up at the minute, as even having a shot seems like an achievement these days

We are a team that have given up. We are ground down, deflated, broken. Warnock should be running away from this shitstorm. I really don’t know where he begins. It’s horrible. We were literally all over the place in that game and the fight is gone. How the hell do we turn this shambles around?
