Doesn’t matter who is in the team or manages it I think sadly squad is incapable of winning a football match. Sad to think this way but I’m a realist we have one of the worst teams I’ve seen in 55+ years supporting them

Please name me more than one match where Holmes has "made things happen in the final third" - either since he returned or when he was first here. Not looking at his first spell, I didn’t rate him then but I think he’s been noticeably better (to me at least) since he came back. I agree with the OP he often looks like the only player trying to make things happen. Obviously in true HTFC fashion a few still have the knives out for him This season Rotherham (goal) Luton (goal) Stoke ( 2 assists) Last season Hull (goal) Bristol (goal) Derby (goal) Forest (goal) Fulham (goal) As I've said previously this says everything about the pisspoor state we're in. Anybody out there sad enough to be able to quote what his XLOSINGPOSSESIONINDANGEROUSAREAS is? |

In over a season & a half (including a full season where we finished 3rd in the league) 7 goals & 2 assists isn't the end product of a prolific Championship attacking player. He was used largely as an impact sub last year and I’d argue that return of 5 goals is pretty good in that context. So far this season the whole team has been shit but he still looks like one of the only players likely to create something in my opinion. The op asked for ‘more than one occasion’ where he’s contributed since he came back and there are 9 listed above. |

Thing with High is that he has played 42 games and is 22. I have not seen any improvement at all. If anything, he has got worse. We are not in a position to be 'developing or giving people a chance. If Hungbo is on the bench tonight that is horrendous. Probably the only positive from Wigan. The only changes should be Kasumu for Camara. Lowton for Turton and a huge call, but I would play Boyle over Lees based on Lees current form. Might it be fair to say that his getting worse as you put it could reflect the deterioration in the quality of coaching. Corberan - Schofield - Fotheringham, and perhaps with Warnock we might see an improvement in his performances? Can't blame Schofield or Fotheringham. He was at Rotherham..... |

If we could find 10 players, playing in their right positions and playing a system they both understand and enjoy, we might do better.
Colins job is just to make them more effective whatever their feelings about how we do it?
This swapping and changing hasnt worked till now.

Could be any formation that lineup. Could be wing backs with Headley and possibly Rudoni? Get Knockaert and Koroma squeezed in closer to Waghorn and let High and Hogg hold the middle of the park?
Or it could be that they have found Lee Clarks tombola.
