This is clearly CEO appointment. Not a Bromby appointment. Nice to play attractive football. Nice to give everybody a chance. Nice to give kids a chance. This appointment is all about staying up and increasing the chances of a sale at a reasonable price to investors that have a reasonable amount of money to invest. I am sure a club in L1 is worth significantly less than a team in the Championship only one step away from the PL. This is 100% a Dean Hoyle appointment, he’s stepped in and stopped the gambling on rookies . fair does as bringing him and jepson back won’t have been cheap. |

So when did you first hear of interest from Huddersfield?
Well me and the wife were sat on the beach outside our chalet in Cornwell when my agent phoned. It was a no brainer as I am sick and tired of spending everyday with the ball and chain.

At least we have given ourselves the best possible chance now. If we go down now, then it was just meant to be. So if we are relegated with DS, MF or NP then its shite, but OK to be relegated with Colin? He was our best hope and the club have managed to persuade him out of retirement so hats off there. Will it be too little too late? Only time will tell but I would put my house on us having a better chance with Neil Warnock in charge than we would have done with Mark Fotheringham in charge. Personally, I’m delighted he’s back “for one last job”. I get he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but any manager with a Town promotion on their cv has my full support. UTT |

I actually walked passed Sky Sports News when the news broke. Said there was someone in football who was gay and that Neil Warnock had come out…next page, of retirement.

From what he's said in the past it sounds like it's Sharon who's encouraged him to come out of retirement the other half a dozen times that he said he was done. He jokes that she was sick of him being home all day. They used to live in Holmfirth when he was here last time, so I wonder if people in HD9 will be seeing him on his electric bike in the near future! |

Like some have said, regardless of the effect, its an emotional appointment for me.
I was a 20 odd yer old back then living in Cheshire and usually attending every game home and way.
Now I'm mid 50's, married, 2 kids, divorced, my eldest is 16 on Friday and it all adds up to something just a little bit special.
And, a special mention for Jeppo. He loved it at Huddersfield and always said he felt a special bond with the fans.
