Got me dreaming again Best Saturday evening in a long time! Amazing how it affects the mood even if you try not to let it! We have a chance, I just hope the confidence boost from beating a play off team away from home helps them kick on now and improve performances.

Can’t wait for the Boro game.

Considering the 'quality' of football we play, it's fuckin' amazing! He knows what he's doing. Would he have known what he was doing if Waghorn hadn't gone off injured ?!

We've picked up two wins and two draws in seven matches.

He’s stopped the rot
No way we losing to Cardiff Swansea Reading?
7 points there
Pick up 2 wins from somewhere else
Reading deduction
QPR ducked
—
Warnock a lower league genius

I've been baffled by a lot of Colin's selections, tactics and cheery post match comments when we've been absolutely wank in games. Maybe it's all been because he has a foolproof masterplan for survival up his sleeve and he's just been taking the piss a bit?

I feel a few people are getting a bit too carried away here. Terrific result today but we have been atrocious in several games under Warnock and except his first game we have shown nothing to suggest we are capable of survival. Good point at home to Norwich but draws wont get us out of this.
Another win in the next couple of games would be massive and maybe then I'd start to believe in his plan, but so far the jury is definitely still out.

In Fotheringhams last 7 game we had two wins, three draws and two defeats....
We're pretty much just carrying on the same patchy form we've shown since Schofield was shown the door.

To be fair, Fotheringham's were almost all against bottom end sides after half a season in charge. Warnock's have been mostly against top half sides having walked into a zero-confidence dressing room from day 1.

He had a run of easy games and we kept letting last minute equalisers in Plus we we played against Blackpool with 10 men for 45 minutes His results were shockingly bad

We are still in it and the tide is turning in our favour. we have some difficult games ahead - high flying Boro next but I am sure we will turn up for this one.
What I have liked in the last couple of games is the passion shown by the players - they don't give up, they just keep going. Colin and Jeppo have got us thinking we have a chance, we couldn't ask for more.

We’ve played 5 of the top 9 in Warnock’s 7 games. Fotheringham’s last 7 games included Rotherham, Wigan, Blackpool and QPR and not a single team in the top 8.

We knew we weren’t leaving Turf Moor with anything other than a heavy beating and I didn’t expect Warnock to suddenly turn us into a free scoring team so draws and narrow wins or defeats it was always going to be. The Millwall win puts some belief back into the team and supporters that we can get out of this mess but it’ll still be very difficult. I just wish Warnock had been brought in a month earlier, things could have been very different.

Pretty similar, but irrelevant without the context of WHICH teams each was up against. Throwing away a lead against ten men TWICE I don't think would have happened under Colin. Losing against the teams around and below us wouldn't have happened under Colin. IMO of course, we'll never truly know but I'm certainly glad Buzz is gone and I'm not even one of the many on here who was vocal about it!

I'd agree, I felt Fozzer was losing what grip he had and the capitulation against 10 man Blackpool was a catastrophe. While it's taken Warnock a while to tighten up the team , stop the goals against...he hasn't found a way for us to score much yet...the win at Millwall has been a massive boost, just what we needed, so some belief has been restored..for now.

Shame this international break has come along, could have done with a midweek game and a Saturday game to try and keep the momentum going, it has taken a long time to get this win.

Sadly we just don’t have the strikers on the books irrespective of who the manager is.

The flip side is that it might disrupt the momentum Boro might have? Does Akpo have some International games to play? I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to the lad, but a hamstring twinge that keeps him out of the game could be welcome? I’ll be there, it can’t see beyond a win for Boro here.
