I'm sure that NW will use the news as a motivation. Momentum and positive thoughts are massively important. It's still a big ask, but use everything to influence.
Nothing to lose on the pitch so give it a go.

Nothing to lose on the pitch so give it a go. Definitely, also an opportunity to achieve something remarkable, staying up at this stage, with the fixtures we have, would be a huge achievement.

I’d we’d have got him a few weeks earlier we’d already be up.

I admit that up until last week I was sceptical as to whether NW could keep us up. We are still in the shit but for the first time this season I believe we can do it. He clearly sets out not to concede goals but again both Norwich and Boro when we went a goal down his message to the players was hang on in there, don’t concede a 2nd and we might get something out of the game.

I still think it's too little too late. But he's given us a chance and Atleast we are having a go #UTT

Level with Cardiff and only 2 points behind Rotherham and 3 behind QPR with 7 games left. Too little too late, really!

The momentum is now with us. Things could change very quickly but there are now 6 clubs in the relegation battle ( 7 if you include Reading getting their points deduction) so we are no longer chasing just one team to get out of bottom 3.

Next 2 games are massive. 3 or 4 points would see us take a massive step to safety. Come on Neil...

Just watched the feature on him on Football Focus. Came across really well. Wish he'd stay with us next season but he's ruled it out.
Agreed with him about boring modern football, sometimes the Premier League is like watching chess.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Warnock knows what he's doing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Warnock knows what he's doing. Of course he does. I must admit I got frustrated 3 or 4 games ago that we weren't just going for it, now I realise We've not got the side for that and playing expansive would means we'll get picked of for 4 or 5. Neil knows what he's doing. Make us extremely difficult to break down and take the chances when they come.

QPR have lost 8 of their last 9 games. They’ve lost to Blackpool, Wigan and Brum the last 3 games.
They’ve picked up something like 11 points in the 18 games since the World Cup.
I can see us going past Rotherham and QPR and I can’t see Blackpool or Wigan catching us.

Colin is a masterclass when it comes to managing and setting teams up to match the opponents style.as I have mentioned before, if anyone can keep us in the championship, Colin can, legend that he is.

Just past halfway point of Neil's tenure & I would have to say he's probably ahead of the twenty points that I would have set him as a reasonable target, 11 points from 8 games with over half coming from six opponents in the top ten & the other four against Bristol & Brum.......Still a lot left to do, but looking promising.UTT.

Out of the bottom 6 the momentum is with us at the moment, but this changes game by game. Before Saturday it would reasonable to suggest Boro may beat us, Cardiff had a local derby and it wouldn’t have been a shock if they had won. If that had happened we could have been 6 points adrift. But it didn’t. All will change gave by game. How I love football!

Rotherham beat promoted Boro with their only shot on target in the 88th minute. [Someone claimed that Warnock's record against Boro is now W15 D4, which sounds improbable]. 22nd with 10 games left. The week after they came back from 3-0 down after 82 minutes to draw 3-3 at home to Derby, who were in the top six, but remained 22nd. Would love it if any of our rivals could emulate MK Dons and get only 2 or 3 points from their last 9/10 games. Hull were above us with 6 games left in 2019-20, but lost all six. Oddschecker has only Betfair showing any odds, obviously because of the uncertainty about Reading; fwiw we're 20/21 to go down (from 1/16 before Millwall) with a number of the others all close to 2-1. I wonder what Rotherham's odds were when they were in the same position and with an equally difficult run of fixtures as we have now.

We've been at the position of knowing that a win could take us (a few positions) out of the bottom three a few times, but never managed to get it done. We've then lost a few and got back into the position of needing wins just to close the gap. You feel like it's now or never to finely step out of the drop zone.

The table has changed tons in the last few weeks.
At one point it looked like it was any 3 from 4 to be relegated. Now it’s defo any 3 from 6. And you could argue at the moment it’s 1 from 4 with Blackpool 4 points back from us.
Still lots of twists and turns. Obvs huge weekend ahead.

Conversely, seeing it 4 points away again would be a massive kick in the gut. My take on it? I'm just off to get tickets for Friday 🍻
