Ward tries? I think he tries... I didn't say he was any good though..... He's spent most of the season out injured and has then decided he's fit when Warnock comes in. Danny Ward has been an absolute disgrace for the majority of his spells at Town. We paid a million quid for him back in 2011 and what a waste of money it was. Then we were stupid enough to bring him back for a second spell! On a three year deal!! I'm starting to think that Corberan WAS a genius as he somehow managed to get him to score 14 goals last season. One good season in God knows how many. Good riddance when he finally does fuck off.

To be fair, in my mind I’d already afforded Warnock free hits on his first three games; it would take him that long to get ideas about the players and what his plan would be.
Brum was a nice bonus.
Burnley was always a loss.
Coventry I’d already thought we’d get nothing.
If he will work a miracle it starts now and it will mean needing to turn over a few much better sides.
Possible. Not highly likely, but possible.
His miracle wasn’t getting 6 points from the first 9, but us finishing 4th bottom……it’s not over yet

Saturday was a real kick in the teeth, wasn't expecting that at all, didn't seem he'd been able to get his ideas across at all and all the energy from the first game v Brum was completely missing. Very strange and not what I was expecting at all. Injuries aren't helping are they and will probably be the final nail. Kasumu a big miss on top of all the others and we're now playing with a sub standard keeper, just what you don't need in this situation. Another idiotic decision on the keeping front, sign two and end up having to throw in our young second choice choice keeper. Absolute circus.

Will Warnock Work Wonders? Looks like a resounding NO at the moment. Sure does, at this point I'd take 10 players running round the pitch steaming into 50/50 challenges and at least attempting to win their individual battles. Saturday was complete powder puff. Maybe its Fozzies world class training methods coming to the fore and they're all just completely fcked and unfit.

He’s now got a 12 game season where he needs to get to a performance level that’s on a par with the top 3 sides in the division.
Not impossible, but at least we’ll know by the end of this month if it’s working.
Strangely enough, looking forward to the game tomorrow. We’ve got the potential of seeing 12 shit or bust performances, anything could happen…

Yeah I know....I feel like I am clutching at straws really, but I 100% will not give up believing until it is not possible to escape. There will be twists and turns yet and even the smallest 'run' of results can change everything. Time is running out, yes, and the Cov game was a kick in the teeth, but let's see how look after the next couple.....!

All season it’s been “let’s forget the latest defeat and move on. Let’s see what the next three games bring. We are not out of it. “ Not once have we delivered “in the ne t three games”. Our record against the bottom six just confirms we are the worst side in the championship. The players have gone. The supporters are rapidly going. Sadly Dean & Phil have conjured up the biggest shit show I have ever seen in my 50 years of following town.

I'll tune in for the Brizzle game, but the first time Lees punts it up the line over the top, I'm switching off and finishing off the final season of Breaking Bad.

Its over. we're fcked and it could get even more embarrassing. A sad end to our stint in the top two divisions and Warnock's career.

Almost with you, except season 3 was the one with the ridiculously tedious budget saving episode centred on the fly that all the critics seem to think is some kind of work of art.

I started reading the first sentence of your response thinking there was an upside coming… 😁 I’m surprised Warnock took this on, but it’s obviously in his blood still, and he knows it’s an interim gig at best. It might not be the result he or we will want, but it shouldn’t tarnish his legacy. Win tomorrow and you can guarantee the hope will still be fickering, but it’s the fact we now need so many other results to go our way as well as our upturn in form as well. What will be will be…

Would you say season 2 was the peak then? I was certainly ready for it to end long before season 5, I remember.

Have to say, I was happy at Warnocks return. But clearly it's too dire a situation for any miracle from him. Games up !!!

0 goals in 3 and only 7 shots on target in the last 4.5 hours of football.
We’ve scored 2 and conceded 9 under Warnock so far.
Getting this squad out of this mess looks like an impossible task.

After the brum game I honestly thought he might be able to do something. He seemed to get something out of our squad that had been missing.
But the last three games??? Just dreadful.
Not sure what our odds are but for me we now need a miracle.

Literally a must win game and changed nothing. Two subs at half time that were forced upon him. Had a striker sat on the bench, fucking use him! Josh Koroma - put him on the fucking left, literally the one thing he's good at is cutting in from the left onto his right foot.

Will Warnock work wonders?
His tactic of waiting for a defender to take all throw ins and then instructing them to continually chuck it down the line and onto opposition defenders heads is working a treat.
As is his tactic of instructing the players to belt the ball forward in all circumstances no matter whether a player is available or not.
Absolute magician.

I do not think there is any chance that anyone can save us from the situation we are in. Its a fact that 3 teams have to be the worst every season - and this season, one of them will be us.

0 0 at home with 10 mins left and all he was doing was tell the players to slow it down and play for a point. There was one occasion at the Kilmer Bank where Pearson was about to take a throw in and he was getting stick from fans for taking ages and he just looked back at the fans as if to say - nowt to do with me it’s the gaffer. Also Simpson he came on Saturday at 3 0 down and not at all today at home at 0 0 so why have him on the bench!

Have to say Birmingham aside, this isn’t the Neil Warnock I remember or was expecting. Can only think he’s got in the building, taken a few training sessions and realised he doesn’t have the players required to keep us up. He seems very laid back about the whole situation, an almost whatever will be will be attitude. If we’re going down - which we are - at least go down with some fight and spirit and a little tactical know-how. Play players in their correct positions and where was Knockeart tonight? Deemed fit enough for a place on the bench on Saturday and nowhere this evening. He’s one we have with a bit about them but we don’t play him. Very bizarre.

It’s hard to come in with so few games left.
However, that was awful again. I watched 10 mins of Plymouth v Derby at half time. Light years ahead of us.
We are supposed to be playing for our lives - I’m not seeing that.
Diarra - impact sub only. Cannot start.
Hungbo - the same.
Carlos will rip us a new one on Saturday.

Unfortunately it appears he’s only here to promote his tour. It all just seems like a laugh and his interviews are basically him trying to be funny and come up with sound bites that might go viral on Twitter! His attitude seems to be “I’ve no chance of keeping this lot up but none of it’s my fault!” The last 3 performances have been shocking and team selections totally wrong, we had to win last so why not go for it a bit more, try something different… Simpson, Rhodes anyone with some attacking threat!
