It's still a big ask to stay up,obviously I hope we do but if we do who the Hell is going to follow Warnock? I would be asking Warnock. I'd also be asking him to take on an advisory role.

Watching the highlights we were a little fortunate on chances created. We could just as easily have lost that game but at last trying to win rather than bore our way to safety.

Both Town's goal-scoring moves started by the keeper.....end-to-end in just a few seconds. Brilliant!

Is next week a free hit, can we snatch something, him and Jeppo's got a full week with the team now so its not going to be the walkover we might have expected, lots do do yet in the coming weeks...but its on.

Yeah, but he didn't come out of the dugout. It was left to the proper coaches. You wouldn't expect him to, though. For the reason you just gave.

Everything about it was so different. The players will to win,. the fans getting behind the players, particularly in those closing minutes when it was obvious they were physically flagging a bit.
Says it all when we had 3 players.. senior players too,, demanding to play regardless of what the medical people are saying.
Brum had some good players , particularly Bacuna who was probably the stand out player in the game, but we just had a will to win that saw us through.
Compare how we caved into a shambles for 15 minutes after stoke went 1-0 up a few days ago.. this time we brushed ourselves off and forced our way back into the game.
And whilst fans have been slagging anyone and everything off about the club this season, one thing we should all agree on is the quantity and quality of the kids that are stepping up into the first team is really impressive. Has our production line ever been better and anywhere near it? Headley and Bilo being the latest. Tremendous performances by both ,, plus camara.. Jackson and Diarra waiting to get back on the pitch.

Look what you can do if you just attack I’d actually forgot we were allowed to. A Cardiff fan I work with said exactly how he’d play and do you know what I actually missed this style of hoof ball it’s much more exciting than tippy tappy goalmouth klopp ball. Actually realising we have fast wingers to exploit all that space and even if we don’t the ball is better up their end then on our goal line! UTFT

While that is true, you appear to be highlighting only half the picture, as equally we had a couple of very good chances as well (not to mention a reasonable penalty shout).

Talking about bacuna, is it just coincidence that when these lads stop being seemingly obsessed by their flaming hairstyles that they suddenly look such better players? When I think of him for us, I remember a lad with so much ability but one who would fanny about doing silly little tricks that rarely come off and posing around in games whilst sporting an ever more intricate and colourful, constantly changing art installation on his head. Yesterday,, just normal hair.. looked every bit the player we should have bought for our £5m or whatever we paid for him. Its got to be something to do with focus. For more evidence think of Sorba and Jon Russell.. both turn up this season with all sorts of imaginative shenanigans going on upstairs.. and both are unfocussed and generally shite. Should be in their contracts.. short back and sides or a buzzcut.

Great win yesterday, lost my voice with all the singing/shouting - not helped by staying in Town after the game and up at 5am to catch a flight back to Belfast.
My 7 year old actually enjoyed it yesterday and wants to come to the next game.
Amazing what a battling performance, a couple of goals and three points does for all concerned!

It can’t have been a simple mistake kicking it into no man’s land. That ate up about 30 seconds when they had to traipse for the throw and then fanny about trying to find a man. Can’t say I’ve seen that tactic played with it being so obvious before. He had a great game, aside of a couple of ropey GK’s. Nice to see Nichols on the bench as well…

The fannying around at the back doesn't work unless you're Man City or Liverpool. Best will in the world, but most defenders at this level don't have the passing ability and vision to make it effective. At the worst it's dangerous, particularly when you've got lads who are good at the tough stuff but aren't what you'd call natural 'footballers'. I thought it sometimes worked to a certain degree under Carlos, but even then it just seemed to be an utter waste of time when the ball should actually have been in the opposition's half.

Wow in 48 hours, warnock totally exploded with this team, would have surely shocked the other team and manager. My question now going forward is will Warnock change things on a game to game basis, or will he just go full throttle every game, time will tell, I would say do the same with Burnley and see what happens, after all there's nowt to lose, will be interesting all the same. He'll use his nowse engage the spirit versus man city in the prem when needed (Burnley), at home it will be the same, hell for leather. Win 4 draw 3 of the remaining home games and find 4 points away. I think that will be enough. Not easy but do able

The club have got a hell of a lot wrong over the last 5 years, but yesterday showed how much of a master stroke it was in bringing back Warnock. On the way over I said all I wanted to see was some fucking passion, and my god did we see that. The fans were brilliant, the whole bench were brilliant, the tactics suited the players we have at the moment, and it actually looked like the players enjoyed the game. My god we are still a bit shit though, but it sure as hell didn’t feel like sleep walking to relegation. The players running from the bench down to celebrate the winning goal, flashes of the Heff goal against some shithole club from down the road as well. But a real sense of team spirit and desire. The whole day felt a million times better than under the previous fraud of a manager. Keep the passion there and who knows what we can do It was the fans who brought Warnock back...you think Dean doesn't read DATM...? For his mental health I hope he doesn't

On paper, Birmingham having a cracking squad and it all clicked against WBA just glad it didn't yesterday but clearly they should be higher up in the table than what they are.
