When we were last in the lower leagues, I stood with the home fans down the side, hearing them regularly praise a player of ours whom we didn't rate. I now sit down the side with the home fans, even Millwall last season (although we lost 2 0). Never had a problem, but then again, I'm not demonstrative.

The much derided, on here, Micheal Collins. I was at that game. Up in the Gods, right at the back of the stand where the away fans sat. I thought Collins was very good in that game, particularly in the second half when Chelsea took pity on us and allowed us to have a bit of the ball. He always struck me as a technically gifted player who just didn't seem able to impose himself on games enough. He certainly wasn't without ability on the ball. I'm sure he finished as top scorer in the 2008-09 season? |
