How is their owner going to repay Hoyle, his net worth is less than Hoyles lol. In fact his net worth is less than PH Prepare yourself for more staged buy outs and refusing to let go of the trainset would be my guess. Sigh

Surely it has to be a clean break this time, none of this hanging around and retaining a stake nonsense again.
Sounds like a Potless Mk 2 kind of thing.

I would have been quite excited about new Dutch owners but not if the club killer is still involved.
I wouldn't have minded paying abit extra for my season card next season but if the money used is going towards paying off all Hoyles fuck ups and not investment in the club then I'm definitely not renewing. Fuck that!

Unless it is has owner of key infrastructure (Canalside). We need to hear the spiel and the plan before judging what we think may happen. I'm "prepared" to listen and then take a view but if DH is involved I'll be keen to understand to what purpose.

Investment stinks of dean still clinging onto part of the club Hoyle has made the club a rotten smouldering cesspit. I certainly won’t be getting a season ticket if he’s sticking around in any capacity. Whatever happens then you will not be getting a season ticket, DH will be around minimum I would say of 6months whatever the final outcome as DH is currently the only person approved to run the club and changing this to someone new is not a quick process. And by the way DH has actually saved the club again...........admittedly from a mistake he was part of selling to PH. If he had sold to PH completely and fully cut ties, the chances are you also would not be getting a season ticket next season in fact you probably would not have one this season............. it will all come out in time and I am quite sure your opinion will change. The club should be in an extremly healthy position should everything go to plan now if we have the investment announcement in the next few days / weeks then this could give a massive lift to everyone and give us a great chance of survial in the championship.

I've been a season ticket holder since the Leeds Road days, but if Hoyle has any involvement in the club after the take-over / investment i wont be renewing.

Happy to wait and see, but am wondering why the OP decided to pre emptevents at the club. Is there an advantage to be gained by speculating beforehand, rather than wait until any done deal has taken place?🤔

Has to be a clean break. I’d rather do something else with my weekend than a continuous repeat of this season. Happy to give the Dutch a shot, but not if they repeat the disastrous formula that has got us to this point.

It most likely will come out in time yes.with a bit of luck so will the intentions of the party that have missed out.then we can all revel at what a steaming pile of turd decision had been made.

Maybe the OP can give a few more details on this ?? The fact that Maynard has liked the post you've commented on tells you everything you need to know. Dean 'the limpet' Hoyle won't be letting go until the club pays him back for blessing us with the likes of Mbenza, Diakhaby, Pritchard, Kongolo, etc, etc, etc. Bollocks, I never noticed that

This just sounds like the same deal as last time. Isn't the definition of madness keeping doing the same thing again and hoping for a different outcome?
If we end up getting relegated this season, we may well have been better going into administration and getting the best new owners for the club, rather than what sounds like the best outcome for DH.

Happy to give the Dutch a shot, but not if they repeat the disastrous formula that has got us to this point. Because without speculation and intrigue this would less of a forum and merely a news site. If we waited for events to factually unfold we'd have little to talk about. I praise the OP for sharing what he's heard and if it turns out to be untrue - at least we all had something to discuss on our mundane Tuesday afternoons.

It sounds dramatic but I'll be absolutely gutted if we go down a route that involves Dean sticking around, especially if he's sticking around to claw back his debts.
I've no idea how well the US lot would've done but from the bits I've heard, they had ambition for the club, town, and enormous wealth.
Now, we've heard that a million times at other clubs and it doesn't always work, but what I'd give for an ownership group who at least cares enough to say it and maybe give it a go. Sick to death of the misery of Hoyle and his cronies and the god awful Board that do not know how to run a top 30 club. I want some professionalism, ambition and pride from our ownership.
Maybe the Dutch will offer it - and I really hope my gut feeling is wrong - but any deal that involves Hoyle sticking around absolutely stinks, so I'm not hopeful.

What a continuing crock of absolute shit. He always takes the option that is shit for the club and goof for him. Time to fuck off now once and for all.

Whilst I appreciate the concerns around the Dutch, which are all based on speculation and rumour, the "I'm not buying a season ticket" response is rather kneejerk.
Surely we have to give them 18 months to show us their intentions. If we stay up (or go down) and are towards the top of the table this time next year I suspect opinions may be different.
If we're still an absolute shambles in 12 months then I'll probably be joining you in not renewing, but surely you have to give them a chance.
This is a chance for a total reset from the utter shite we've been given for the last 5 years ( -1 season). We should be excited about what's going to happen, not immediately ruling these guys out.
I could give you a list as long as my arm of clubs with billionaire owners who aren't progressing. Having a clear identity and plan is far far far more important than billions. Now I'm not saying the Americans won't have a plan, but again we have absolutely no idea so to form such a drastic opinion in regards to season tickets is a little OTT for me.
Feel free to revisit this in 12 months 😂
P.s if this involves Dean staying around then I 1000% agree with everyone. Needs to be a total split

I imagine the highlighted sentence is the key to this. We need investment now to secure the club into next season and any new owner would need to pass the new owner test and we don't have time to do both. I would imagine it's a matter of timing and the plan is to clear it up in the foreseeable future. Admittedly, we have heard that before however....
