I think the rhetoric is primarily driven by Dean’s conduct over the last four seasons and the seeming parallels (to the Phil deal) by which this deal appears to be structured. People spoke out at the time about the Phil deal and there were many like you who said let’s wait and see etc; well we waited and we’ve seen and the answer: Monumental balls up for everyone. Whether those like captain slapper will ever admit to how wrong they got it, is yet to be seen but I won’t hold my breath. |

Its still my understanding that DH wants to be fully out and back to being a fan again however it cant possibly happen quickly too much to sort out. - Approval for any new owner takes time - Canalside land to sort - Stadium shares and ownership to sort out The Dutch deal is the only one that is really an avaialble option at this time and it is also the one with Football experience, we have been lucky with DH in charge as a fan willing to throw his own money into the club, I dont expect this to happen ever again and the Dutch want to run a succesful business / football club finacialy and on the pitch, I dont see an issue with this its more likly we would still have a club to support in ten years with the Dutch model than the North American model, just because the other people have more nett worth doesnt mean they are willing to throw it all away with the hope of Premiership football. |
