So, it sounds as though there might be a deal going through but I don't know what it is yet. Others, who also don't know what it is, are seething at the deal (even though they don't know what it is) - although they do appear to know about some clause stating which division we must play in for the next few years. They're also extra seething that there might have been another deal (but they don't know what it was) from someone (they don't know who it was) that was better than the deal that might be going through - the one that they don't know what it is yet. It's all down to one evil mastermind apparently - they seem certain about that.
I don't know. (DATM fact).

You thought it was someone called and asked for DM's if it wasn't. You then continued to pursue who Maynard actually is like some sort of bounty hunter because you don't like the balance of the thread. I don't agree with everything Maynard writes and definitely don't like Hodgkinson thats for damn sure. I just don't understand why you need to know who they are......thats all Sorry but you’re putting words into my mouth, I said it was obvious based on the surname and someone else mentioned the name. Just let it rest. |

All, I have removed all references to the potential full name of MaynardBlue after a conversation with them in the background. This does not corroborate the information posted. This action was taken completely from my own volition, so if anyone has an issue - fire a bullet at me, not Overton or Keith. Apologies for being slightly heavy handed (as you will know this is not usually my choice of style) but on this occasion it is necessary. Please bear in mind folks, naming people and sleuthing without consent is a little unfair and could place them in an awkward position. Why are were thinking dean will hold on for his money back?... Isn't there idea of selling that he gets it back in the sale price? Apparently he'll only get his money back if he keeps a percentage of the club. No ones realised that he could just have a contract that pays him his money back without him keeping a percentage of the club. We can only hope theyre clever enough to look on here for the solutions. I wonder why he kept 25% with the sale to PH? He could have just set up a contract to repay his loans over time. |

If you’re a director / shareholder of a business you have an obligation to keep funding the club if another shareholder cannot do so, otherwise they’d have to call in the administrators as the business cannot function as an ongoing concern. If he set up a contract for potless to pay him 35 million for example and potless went bust which he has done, DH wouldn’t get a penny off potless and become a debtor and would get pennies in the pound via the administration process. This way DH still has to fund the club but more importantly still has the opportunity to recoup his money by selling to another person / consortium ie the Dutch. He’s protecting his investment. If it goes tits up with the Dutch, he’d probably do the same again depending on how much he’s still owed. That’s how I understand rightly or wrongly. |

And if they aren,t approved,what then? I have been a supporter/fan for over 70 years,and currently unable to attend games as I live in Halifax.So I cannot vote with my feet. Hoyle,in the last few seasons,has been a disgrace,and if he is the only person approved to run the club and the takeover doesn,t go through we would be stuck with him.That being the case,I could change my allegience to the Shaymen,at least I would be able to get a taxi to the ground for £3 and enjoy a pint or two before and after the game in the nearby taverns, and a taxi home.  Halifax, Nova Scotia? Sorry didn't read the whole post. How much is the Bus from Halifax to Huddersfield? Are you going to pick me up from Huddersfield bus station,take me to the Peacock and wait while I have a couple of Stellas then run me to the stadium in your motor,and to the bus station after the game? How much would you pay for a business that you tell us needs £5M a year just to keep it ticking over, oops that is dropping it to a lower level? We look like being in League 1 next year so the value of the club will drop dramatically. As things stands he should be very happy if he just gets shut, getting his money back would be a like a lottery win. |
