Apparently he'll only get his money back if he keeps a percentage of the club. No ones realised that he could just have a contract that pays him his money back without him keeping a percentage of the club. We can only hope theyre clever enough to look on here for the solutions. How much would you pay for a business that you tell us needs £5M a year just to keep it ticking over, oops that is dropping it to a lower level? We look like being in League 1 next year so the value of the club will drop dramatically. As things stands he should be very happy if he just gets shut, getting his money back would be a like a lottery win. I imagine the negotiations will include a value for both scenarios... stay up or go down. if Hoyle just wanted to get shut ( and save himself £100k a week ) then he could have put us into admin at any point. |

Fair assessment. But not without further and significant damage to his reputation/ego. Plus there would have still been no guarantees that he would have got anywhere near as much money back. |

As the Dutch are intersted, could Ken Monkou be involved haha. He did make a lot of money, after he retired i think in coffee shops ? I liked Monkou. I might be wrong but didn't he get injured against Wimbledon in the shitty league cup ? We were once given a right ear full off Wijnhard for looking at his car on our way home. There was a few us and we actually thought he was going to start a fight. My dad ended up calming him down but jesus, he kicked off |

Yeah he was sound Captain, but only after my dad intervened. We weren't touching the car or anything, I just remember it being a really nice motor. Not something you would see in the Town car park Obviously you know the time period but it was when everyone used to go in the Rope Walk after games and I'm not joking, but we actually saw Kenny Irons driving past in a really scruffy looking Ford Fiesta. Talk about one extreme to the other, but then again, that was Kenny I suppose |

I dont know Bluebell..no more info than anyone else ( almost none) but Id agree with Sio that the admin talk seems like bit of brinkmanship to get the wheels on the track as far as pure administrators were concerned to me. Hoyle has committed to fund the club until a sale happens and I dont see why he'd go back on that, as it wouldn't be to the clubs or his benefit. |
