Okay, perhaps not entirely. But I think it's fair to say that the heavy speculation in recent weeks on the declining reputation of DH if he took a deal than benefitted his own finances more than the future of the football club has perhaps led or contributed somewhat to this outcome. All down to the Cowshed Loyal tweets IMO. |

sounds like adminstration was definately on the cards reading that Mail article.. the key to the whole thing was getting the shares out of the grubby mits of Pure..it seems.. DH to fund the club until end of season (to be repaid by the consortium)..all we need to do now is try and stay in this league, so over to you Neil...no pressure !

Not really. Much like when he sold to PH this is unlikely to be the best deal for him personally,, just hope this time he achieves what hes trying to do and get the best deal for HTFC going forward. Time will tell on that I suppose. The Hoyle era has been great time to follow the club. Weve achieved things I never thought we would and have spent more continuous time out of the bottom 2 divisions than any time in the 2nd half of the clubs history. Whilst errors and mistakes have been made, I cant thank him enough. Hes a HTFC legend and he should be very proud of what hes done for the club. Just hope hes made the right decision here and the new owners can take us onto another successful era of their own. Amen to that. There has lots been said about Hoyle by many (inlcuding myself) over the course of all this (much of which I feel could have been avoided if the communication from HTFC had been a little better) but I think now is the time to draw a line under it all and everyone needs to now come together and now focus attention on staying in The Championship. It does of course remain to be seen how long term this deal works for HTFC. As seen at United and Liverpool American owners can come under scrutiny pretty quickly with how they operate, but for today at least its nice to know the situation is sorted out and the fans can stop worrying about the 'mights' that have been played out over the past few weeks. |

The loans had to be written off to get the sale done. He hasn't done it through choice.. he wants out. |
