Fair play, Mr Hoyle. Maybe I'll shut my fool mouth for a bit now 😁 You can't have loans of £40m repaid if the club simply isn't worth that. The club is losing £5m a year and it has very few assets. The loans had to be written off to get the sale done. He hasn't done it through choice.. he wants out. If money were his main motivation he would just have put us in administration and clawed back a few million. |

HTHP would make a great job of it but he’d probably start a mass brawl at the launch event CaptainSlapper would write it as a third testament of the Bible in praise of his lord & saviour Prepare would probably make it a colouring book HTAFC35 would need to go on the fiction section Maynard’s effort would be ignored in favouring of folk working out the origin of their nom de plume. Westie’s would be audiobook only and be completely indecipherable- a mix of Rab C Nesbitt & Rowley Birkin QC |

If it's true that Dean is writing off 40M, then very fair play to him & apologies all round.
At least now we can look forward to some excitement & turn our minds to what it might mean for the club, it'll be good to look forward instead of raking over old ground.
I believe Mark Attanasio, the main owner of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball organisation (my team), recently bought a minority shareholding in Norwich, so I'd love it if he was involved in this deal & he dumped them, though the Brewers are a very small team in major league baseball but, recently, have continually punched above their weight. If it was him though, I'm pretty certain he wouldn't be flashing a lot of cash around.
I'm not suggesting for one minute he is part of it, I'm definitely not ITK, but let's now concentrate on the future.

I liked Monkou. I might be wrong but didn't he get injured against Wimbledon in the shitty league cup ? We were once given a right ear full off Wijnhard for looking at his car on our way home. There was a few us and we actually thought he was going to start a fight. My dad ended up calming him down but jesus, he kicked off I had a beer with Wijnhard in Leeds once when he was playing for us after bumping into him in a bar. Sound bloke, though he was chain smoking which was a bit eye opening for a professional athlete.. literally lighting his next cig off his last. What sort of a bar was it, Slapps ? 😉 |

Yeah he was sound Captain, but only after my dad intervened. We weren't touching the car or anything, I just remember it being a really nice motor. Not something you would see in the Town car park Obviously you know the time period but it was when everyone used to go in the Rope Walk after games and I'm not joking, but we actually saw Kenny Irons driving past in a really scruffy looking Ford Fiesta. Talk about one extreme to the other, but then again, that was Kenny I suppose From what I heard, Irons was usually driven over here and back cos he was usually full of Guinness |

Great that the club can move on but why the smoke and mirrors? Why not advise who it is? Maybe an NDA and to broach for the fit and proper person test.
Im not sure how DH has written off 40m unless the wage bill is out in the sky. The last figures were 29m under, since when the club have sold 13/14m worth of obrian, toffs and pippa. There could have been 20%s to lincoln and pippas former club, but thats now 16m under with player values of 12/15m under contract (sorba and Nicholls as well as even kasamu and rudoni as long as they come good).
I suppose in the end it's a positive clean break and im greatful for the best chairman in 30s years watching the club.
It must be tough being under that much scrutiny and you have to build a structure around you that works and thats tough it seems and Dean takes credit for the good times and has apologised fir the mistakes.
Let's hope this team can stay up and the club can get a good coach in the summer.
