Doubt either of them will be there next year, so probably time to try some of their squad players out One thing I did find odd yesterday, was playing Rhodes and then bringing on Waghorn. We had Harratt on the bench (who did come on later) and Simpson nowhere to be seen. Maybe neither will be good enough at this level but we could have given them a go. I think we all know what Rhodes does (or doesn't do) and Waghorn won't be here next season. Trying to get him to 100 goals I'd imagine |

He was on the pitch after the game on Thursday Glad to see this...if we can get another year out of Nicholls and the middle three and Turton returns solid then that's a really decent defense to build from. I think we need one more player with the drive and commitment of Pearson but the quality of the pair alongside him...but other than that, the areas to improve look elsewhere. |
