Amazing job. The final table does not tell the story of how close we came to league 1 and that shows the quality of what Sir Neil and Sir Ronnie achieved. Bravo!

We finish 9 points outside the bottom 3. Absolutely brilliant last few weeks of the season. Real optimism for next season now. Somebody looking at the final league table without knowing any of the context of the season would be hard pressed to comprehend the magnitude of the relegation battle we have been in.

Still 16 points off the play-offs, thank goodness the season's not over yet for a while.

Was highly critical of this group post coventry, really didn’t think they had it in them to finish how we have. Post international week I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching us again. Thank you Neil and Ronnie.
Here’s to the next chapter under Kev

What a disaster of an appointment Fotheringham was. Thanks for Kamberi and taking us to the brink of relegation. Big man in Germany my arse.
Fortunately we had the sense to get the Great Man in.

UTT I always wonder what happens when you have a useless loanee like Kamberi or Lowton. Realistically you don’t want them dragging the rest of the team down so do you just tell them not to turn up to training

Fantastic. 2 great goals and a great send off for Deano, Neil and Ronnie. And a great welcome to Mr Nagle. What an unbelievable end to the season.

Couldn't get to the game but for those there was there also an acknowledgement/thank you to Dean Hoyle? I know his mistakes got us in the mess to start with but I think his time should be viewed as largely a success as he leaves us in a far better place than when he took over us, so it'd be nice if he got a positive send off?

Fotheringham has to be up there with Wadsworth as the most inept managers we have seen at Town.
In my nearly 60 years as a Town fan Ive witnessed some crap but these two deserve a category of their own. Perhaps McDonald too.
Stacking shelves would be beyond their organisational capabilities.
I wonder how much Fotheringham was paid.
Talk about stealing a wage.

A nice end to a pretty woeful season, stay up at a canter. Decent 2nd half from Town and 2 great goals. Ple ty to look forward to with the youth coming through and hopefully a reasonably transfer kitty available so there is no repeat of this season.

I had to do a double take when they subbed Scott Dann on in the second half. Thought he had retired years ago and by his physique, maybe he should have done. I’ve seen more mobile hedgehogs.
Jeff Hendricks is another old pro but he looked the business in a struggling team. He might be worth a loan punt next season, an experienced and technically gifted player helping some of our young midfielders develop.
I also think we need to nail down Koroma and Hungbo. I’d like to see them both on the pitch for us next season.

First game, a loss, generated 23 pages. Win the last game and we’re on 9. What does this indicate? Good news is no news?

NW has to be a genius at what he does. Since he took over, no I am not going to regurgitate the same statistics we have already heard, our second half performances could have been designed by Carlsberg. For the first 15 to 20 minutes of the second half it looked like Reading could not get out of their own half. The goalkeeper's mistake led to the first goal but that was down to the excellent pressing of the team. Could this have been done when Schofield or Fotheringham were in charge? No chance. We simply have to get it right in terms of a manager/coach for next season. Real shame the NW cannot do the season as I am certain we would at least get into the Play offs. But with an experienced man at the helm then we have plenty to look forward to. Only a silly appointment can now ruin it and doubt even Town will go again with that move.

It felt so strange to be totally relaxed at a game. 2 great finishes and no worries at the back. Joint 16th, what was everyone worrying about?

I wonder how much Fotheringham was paid. Talk about stealing a wage. At least Mick W was a decent bloke. Out of his depth as a manager, but I'd happily have gone for a beer with him. Lots of folk get promoted one level above their ability. (Yes,forces lads?) We are all probably one of them, at some point. But. Fotheringham alienated at least half the players, and more than a few non playing staff. (Maynard?) Worse, he almost prevented my 50th consecutive season ticket from happening. Since 1973/74 I have missed 28 home games.(I'm lucky?) This season I have chosen not to go to 8 of them. (Not wanting a leather medal, it's just a fact) I KNOW how he reacted under certain circumstances. And it was rarely good. Under previous managers I have heard (and read) rumours about disruption in the camp. I know for certain it was the case this season. Even if we had stayed up under him I would be elsewhere on a Saturday. But, if we had been relegated under Warnock et al I am in. My insider knowledge is probably over now. It was, almost for certain, 2 months ago, but, we will see. Sorry for the rant but Thursday and today were special for me. Put me back on track. See me at Kilner Bank Stand. T156, and I'll enjoy a beer with you. P.S. Josh Bowler for Goal of the Season. P.P.S. McDonald was just ill.

Particularly satisfying that we didn't finish the season with an anticlimactic loss.....but with another win, and at home. On a high.....

I'd welcome Siewert back ahead of Fotheringham.
