Yes, I would say Lang is a better player than Koroma. As great as JK has been, he is still very much a 1 trick pony. So a lad with 1 goal in 21 Championship games is better than one with 17 in 88 🤔 Lang is a lot better than JK. On your basis, Josh Ruffles is better than Sorba Thomas as has has 3 goals to Sorbas 1 over 2 seasons. Rudoni is way ahead of JK, he only got 2 goals. I do not see your point. In your line of work, would you have the motivation to perform if you didn't know when you were next getting paid? Lang is one of the best prospects outside the PL. |

He is definitely the sort of player we should be picking up, relatively young and not properly fulfilled his potential yet . May well go on to have a better career than JK but he’s not shown it yet.

Hope Lang isn't another Mahoney, feels a bit like that. Shown they are decent players but signing for us on the back of a poor season. They've also both enjoyed their best ever performances at this level against Town... |

Lang is a very decent option for us, without any doubt. Good footballer, runs the channels well and is adaptable. Him alongside a more marquee style CF signing would be good business.

Koroma was our best attacking player under Warnock and probably one of the best in the league those last few games, wouldn’t have survived without him. |

Thing with Lang or any singing, Warnock will know exactly how he is going to use said igning. This is a manager, who knows exactly what he wants and how to use a player in hi squad. Therefore as and when we make signings, there will be a reason for it. Warnock may not go for the obs signings, he never does.

The championship is a completely different animal. Look at Rudoni, last season he scored 12 goals in a struggling side, this season he's scored 2 in a struggling side. Koroma has proved himself at this level, Lang hasn't. Both are the same age but Koroma has played at a higher level for longer and proved he can score and create regularly at this level. He was dicked around by the club but came back under Warnock and gave 100% for the shirt. You're guaranteed goal contributions at this level with him, can we say the same with Lang? Still plenty to prove, hopefully if he does sign for us he can get there. Is he 'a lot better' than Koroma so far? No chance. |

If we are or are going to push to get Hungbo then I don’t see the point in getting Lang, he’s not better than Koroma, sorba or Hungbo.

I don't like it when players get labelled this. If that one trick is still working, what is the problem? Karlan Grant got the same - 'only cuts in and shoots or scores penalties'. If it hits the net, it counts the same as if it was something new and radically amazing. Is Hogg not a one trick pony too then? (other players could have been named here). Or from an attacking perspective, has Rhodes not had a very good career being slightly a one trick pony? Because experienced and good defenders will stop him doing that. Which then makes him ineffective. Do not understand your Rhodes comment? He has never been labelled a one trick pony. He scored all types of goals did Rhodes, he was the total opposite of a one trick pony. As I said, he has had a good spell has JK, but people have short memories. He had a very poor 12 month spell in which he failed in Lg1. It could be coincidence, but it is amazing how he had a great end to the season when he has chance to get a new improved deal either here or elsewhere. Without that form, he would have struggled to get a contract in league 1. If the claim about him being a 1-trick pony had been made 6 months ago I'd have agreed, but he showed numerous times since Neil Warnock came back that he now has other strings to his bow. Shoots with both feet, comes in from either side, can cross with both feet, tracks back.... what more do you want? Of course, we don't know whether he'll sign for us yet.... |

The League is so much stronger this season. Improvements in some positions are needed, and we certainly need a proper (proven at this level) striker. |

I know he isnt the most popular and people are generally anti bringing back old players but id be eyeing up Sinani.
Fills a gap in the squad (winger), decent age, knows the club and decent on set pieces. But it depends what level of player we are looking for.
Being realistic are we looking for solid midtable players or play off quality.
