Sort of transfer news. Everton have decided not to take up the option of signing Coady from Wolves for £4.5m. Shame, as it would have been a good sell on for us.

Agree with Moxon, would also take Jack Armer from them... can play wing back either side. I have to admit, i did like the look of Armer and Moxon. They looked well above league 2 level. Strange, when I saw Carlisle at Sutton in the final league game the whole team looked very average and nobody stood out, lucky to get the draw. Admittedly I missed their playoff final against Stockport. |

Knight or Sibley at Derby would be decent additions. Aaron Collins at Bristol Rovers has had 2 brilliant seasons on the bounce. Lucas Joao is arguably the best finisher in the league and will bag goals if he remains injury free. I also like Festy Ebosele who used to be at Derby and caught my eye the season they went down. Think he's at Udinese and has only featured here and there.
A couple I wish we could look into is either Lewis-Potter (loan) or Sergi Canos who's just come back from a loan spell at Olympiacos. Won't happen but still..

Not to the same extent as Maynard (that I've noticed anyway) but has had SOME success. Agree some of the others seem to be just regurgitating others' titbits. |

Warnock had Crooks at Boro and Rotherham, would make total sense and gives you goals from midfield.
Not the same player as the young lad he once was here.TBF if he was he wouldn't be anywhere near this level. |

Mads Anderson would be a decent signing at CB. Daniel Johnson on a free would give us some depth in attacking midfield. Dabo could provide cover at RB. Like the look of Owen Moxon at Carlisle in CM. Tom Rogic would be a quality signing but no doubt demand big wages. My left-field signing would be Julian Carranza who plays as a striker in the MLS for Union. Scores different types of goals, loves an overhead kick (who doesn't) and is completely different to any striker we currently have. Not sure what the potential fee would be though? Still young and developing. Those are a few I'd be looking at. Agree with Moxon, would also take Jack Armer from them... can play wing back either side. I hear he runs a tailoring business. Suits of Armer. |

We need to build a strong team/squad, and we sign the players required in the order that we can sign them. It’s likely that the better players might have more than one offer and won’t be the first to sign. Should we tell Crooks (if it is him) to wait a few weeks until we sign someone better than him? |
