No guarantee Turton comes back the same player either. He wasn't all that anyway was he? Had a reliable end to the playoff season but other than that looked very average - okay for backup but wouldn't want to think of him as first choice. |

I'm wondering if what we need and what might be a realistic option is a vastly experienced Premier League ball player nearing the end of their career to run the midfield for a season or two. I remember thinking how technically good Dean Whitehead looked when he first came in, and of course, going back - Barry Horne. Someone like James McArthur from Palace, maybe. Nobody else really springs to mind, unfortunately. Puncheon. Can't see any problems there...  |

I don’t know if we necessarily need better (would never turn it down though) but I worry that they’re both very injury prone and Hogg will increasingly need to be used sparingly. We were pretty lucky with Kasumu last year with his 33 games. He’s only managed 24, 24 and 21 previously for MK Dons. Hopefully he’s over the worst. As others have mentioned REG could fill the gap if Warnock sees fit. TBF, those three seasons at MK he'll have been 19, 20 and 21 years old at the start of them. Not many kids play 46+ games. With the player reportedly being offered;

We'll be amazed if Mbappe goes to the Saudi League instead of Madrid but it just shows what they are willing to pay!
