Episode 2 - How to run a club with no brass.... with Cashless Kev. Only joking by the way before you start. 27th of July today and no signings... You buy the season tickets and we will sell all the players. If this was happening under any other custodians then there would be protests... Good job we trust warnock as that has bought some serious time for Kevin and Co.... but they need to start acting... lose a game and the place will be in meltdown and like last year the toxicity at times it can be hard to come back from... the trust is 100% in warnock, if anyone thinks they will get the same free ride next summer when warnock is no longer.. .. think again. So what do you think people expect? We have been told we have to be careful with our budget (the reasons for that can be debated until the cows come home but it won't change the reality). We have not been told to expect a massive investment on the playing side or any immediate push for the Premier League. NW has said he agreed to stay to allow the new regime some time to bed in, he has also said he fully expects us to be competitive. All parties, NW and the new recruitment team/CEO have acknowledged we need new resources - they just need to be the right fit, and yes that includes budget. I am not so naïve to think that in the face of some poor results there won't be a disproportionate level of criticism but we have to be realistic and challenge, if required, Mr Nagle on his plans after he and his team have had a chance to establish themselves. I am hopeful they will maintain the communication and keep a regular and positive dialogue with fans. The truth is we are back to square one with a new regime, a new approach but with the knowledge that being successful isn't impossible at our club. Jake Edwards said "there is so much potential" (at Town). That was by far the best thing I have heard from the club, officially, in years. If Mr Nagle and team believe in that potential there is every chance we can and will be successful, but that will be in the long term and not because we might lose a few games in the first half of this season. Mr Nagle and his team have done nothing to engender any toxic response and they deserve time to establish their plans and personality, we need to remember that if we get beaten 0-3 at home by Leicester (as an example). Time will be the judge but as ever in football, and life, time is scarce commodity but despite that sad fact we need to have some context and be fair minded in our assessment. UTT

Presumably this is where we suggest any players with a train or racing car reference in their name? Someone from Sierra Leone? Someone from Racing Santander? Or just someone whose actual level is the Vauxhall Conference?

UTT an exciting, dependable, hard working: - striker who has been bought for the first team, rather than try to develop with a view to getting in the far future. - solid midfielder, a leader, hogg replacement.

Didn't we once have a player on loan called Hamilton? Des. On loan from Newcastle. He made Dwayne Mattis look like Jude Bellingham. Except for that overhead kick away at Molineux. Mind you Dwayne once hit a 35yd pile-driver away at Posh.

It's the only 'link' we've had over the last few days and RB needs addressing?

Tom Edwards 24yr old RB.
On loan at Barnsley last year, played ten times before suffering a serious knee injury in January.
Not played a Championship game since 2020

A versatile depth piece at the back, fair enough.

Be decent cheapish backup to Sorbinho Thomas, just need to add a Centre Mid or two and a Striker now.
