Like has already been said presume it was one we looked at before bringing in a RB. Second player L’equipe have linked us with in a couple of weeks. Makes me think the French league is one we are looking in.
Let’s hope there is a good CM and CF over there

Nagle responding to fans on twitter asking us to trust his team. That’s all we can do. Least we aren’t signing players like Aaron’s, Mahoney , kamberi (I mean  !)…. I’m intrigued to see what pans out. New calm Dunc (till we lose)….. I like ‘New Calm Dunc’ Given that we know more about the financial situation and restrictions - we are where we are. At least we have a proper manager who will get everything he can out of the squad. Warnock has clearly shipped out all those he didn't need or want - the squad has too many players anyway, that never played for the first team. |

I know he’s had his issues but what do people think of Danny Drinkwater on a free? Technically good. Another one for warnock to get the best out of.

L'Èquipe reporting that we've made an offer for Maxime Sivis, a RB at Guingamp. Wouldn't qualify for a GBE work permit here but might for an ESC, don't know anything about him though. Haven’t they changed the permit requirements for this season. I’m sure I read somewhere about now allowing 4 players to sign that Didn’t hit the previous requirement |

I’m sure I read somewhere about now allowing 4 players to sign that Didn’t hit the previous requirement Yeah that's the ESC (Elite Significant Contribution) permit. If a player is in a band 1-5 league (Guingamp are in Ligue 2 so a band 4 league) then they can take up one of the ESC places if they meet a minimum number of international or league appearances. Championship clubs can have up to four ESC places depending on how many minutes they have given to England Qualified Players in the previous season. If it's above about 35% then they get four places (I think Town were second highest in the Championship on about 67%). The ESC is only for players who wouldn't otherwise qualify for a permit. It doesn't completely open up the international market to us but certainly gives us the option to look a bit more widely. |

I know nowt about this chap, but I question why we'd be in for a RB when we've just signed Edwards. Agent talk? Maybe we were in for him until we got the Edwards deal over the line? Probably old news, it only says we put in an offer but doesn't mention whether we are still after him. Given Turton will be out for a while longer maybe we want another RB on a perm so we can send Spencer out on loan and still have a first choice and cover? |

Our business off the field by refreshing key positions, replacing Hoyle, Devlin, Bromby and keeping NW, these will be our big appointments and our best business this summer. Now that said, we do need players but I’m going to put the trust in the new management to deliver, they will know better than anyone that firstly we do need more through the door and secondly what we do need. |

Since then we've signed Maxwell and Edwards. I'd suggest the club are well aware of the priorities higher up the pitch and so I would be very surprised if we brought in a signing that wasn't a midfielder or forward of some description. |

But Warnock dismissed any suggestion that the club currently intend to send Hudlin out on loan, as they have in sending Simpson to League One Northampton Town for the season. Asked if he had been pleased with Hudlin this summer, the gaffer said: “Absolutely, yeah. I know it sounds a bit silly but I think it’s hard when you’re that big because you do look a little bit clumsy, but he’s got a great touch. If there’s anything that lets him down it’s his heading, which isn’t bad when you’re six foot nine is it! “I let Tyreece go because I felt Kyle had done better than him in pre-season really – it was whoever gets the shirt. Who is Frank Magri? What position does he play? Where is he presently? Would it be a loan or purchase?
AND what evidence does the writer have of Town's interest and the likelihood of a deal?
