The need for a third kit is ridiculous. Just pick a colour / style that means you don’t get a clash. As for particularly liking it. No. Not for me. But then again unless you’re at junior school I’m not sure why you’re interested Just a ruse to milk more money from fans, said before most third kits aren't even needed but the team still occasionally wears them to justify its existence, black and red stripes to back up the first choice kit would suffice and look great, if in the rare occasions a third kit is needed than obviously have one ready, just dont produce it in big numbers and put it on sale to milk fans. Kids just get to choose their favourite surely, if any parent feels pressured into buying all three then they're spoiling their kids IMO. I'll probably wait til its half price or less and buy one for training or lounging around the house. More kits; more choice, no harm done. Kits are a part of football culture aren't they and very important to some. I don't see any issue with 3 per season personally. They bring new everything out all the time but you shouldn't feel pressured into going out and buying them unless you want to. Same principal imo. What is annoying is the price, £50 is clearly just taking the p1ss but its the same with all clubs. |

Someone told me weeks ago the away kit was green. They also told me Warnock hates it and that the 3rd kit is black.

Well, that's horrible. Not a bad design, just a shite colour.
I'm with the people calling for red and black stripes, always works well as a reverse of the home kit.

Further to my point above. In the last 10 seasons, the only season where we actually wore the away kit more than the 3rd kit, was the 2015/16 season. The 3rd kit that season (white camouflage kit) was only worn 3 times. Therefore I wouldn't expect us to need a 3rd kit much this time. Really surprised we wore the red third kit so much more than the fluorescent stripes during our promotion season, I remember us in the neon yellow and black absolutely loads, and can only recall Newcastle and maybe Burton away in the red |

It’s all about opinions of course and I’m gonna buck some of the negative trend about our away kit and say that I really like it very much and will be buying with ma name (Sunday one that is) and the customery No.10 on the back and they will stand out superbly on this nice clean cut kit ! 😊 I’ve lots and lots and lots of Town kits home, away and third (and a couple of goalie ones as well when they do it in 3XL) and all are so very different and ma big rack is a beautiful array of different colours in the away, third and goalie sections... The club generally do a superb job in this and I’ve had nothing but complimentary comments on the strips that I wear a plenty all around The West Island and all around Scotland which is really good as I certainly do not possess the most heavenly male modelling body for sure ! 😬 That said I might not wear it readily in Bridgeton (A rabid Rangers supporting district of Glasgow) but it’d go down well in the neighbouring borough of Parkhead and also The Celtic strongholds that I used to have partners in and drink in of Clydebank and the one and only Dumbarton... (I’m sure Porroh will approve it) ! But yep - The Home one is beautiful and I’ve got it, The away one is really clean and bright and I’ll be having it and I look forward to Town doing their usual quality strip job with the third kit and no doubt I’ll have that one too and the goalkeeper one as well if they hopefully make a few in 3XL size ! 👍 Attachment Deleted |

Looked crap on the black kit and even worse on this one. Is the shirt not already green enough?
Even Ryanair have twigged there's too much yellow inside their aeroplanes

They also told me Warnock hates it and that the 3rd kit is black. in that Sheff United documentary he's in you can hear him on their pre season tour of Cornwall grumbling about their fluorescent orange away kit and home kit shorts being the wrong colour. Some things never change! |

Although annoyingly I popped into the shop today with the intent of getting the blue & white kit, not aware of the green one, and in person I like the green one BETTER 😲 (so walked away with neither!!). I know some folk don't like the monochrome  etc, but with the black sponsors front and back it all just seems more 'solid' - I even like the one black star two white stars better on this kit, the home kit it looks like the one gold or the other two of them have been spoiled in the wash or something, and everything always just looks messy to me with sponsors logos across the stripes. Home kit without the sponsors logo and I'd buy one tomorrow at £15 more than the price they have on them now. With sponsors, I'm in a mental toss-up which to get (and will possibly wait for a third kit now before diving in). |

I quite like it and the home kit also, will not be paying 50 notes for a piece of tissue paper made for a few quid, with an ironed on logo endorsing a rip off electric company though unfortunately!!

It will look great on some.
It will look horrendous on pasty-skinned, overweight folk (of which I am a genuine spokesperson).
I won’t even buy it on the inevitable £10 clear out next May. Love the home kit though.

It could have done as a goalkeepers top as well but it’s a nice bright away one and I’m looking forward to sporting it all summer along with the home one and no doubt the third one also... It’s bright and cheerful and the black stands out very well on it indeed and it’ll be a good fluorescent jersey as I stagger home from footy Saturday from August onwards which will be very apt it being Lime as I drink Lager & Lime by the barrel load) Also though I’ve two yellow ones and one in particular is dazzling hi viz (I think it has the sponsors OPE on the front) - NB - On another note regarding the home kit this time... Earlier on I was down at Oban ferry terminal to pick up the niece who was coming back from a couple of days holiday at her daddy’s holiday cottages in Sanna at Ardnamurichan Penninsula and while waiting to see if she wanted a help with her case and her bagpipe case around 300 foot passengers got off before her and TWO at different intervals said ‘nice top’ - Absoloutely proud and on top of the world I felt so well done the strip designers ! |
