Im struggling to see what the issue is. KN made it very clear when he came in that his short term aim was to stabilise the club and build the club through a growth in income, not merely chucking money at it, which he may or may not have. Although we have signed a player for £1m plus people are not happy, perhaps he wanted to see how good some of the fringe players were before he invested money in new ones. NW was only going to be a short term appointment, KN has put in place a background team who seem to know what they are doing and perhaps the time is now right to bring in a long term Head Coach as we go forward.I believe we have a nucleus of a decent side, one that are capable of a mid table finish which i'll accept this season. The guy has only been in charge for 3/4 months and as many on here have said previously we were in a mess, a basket case of a club, L1 written all over. PATIENCE PLEASE!

Well it is often said that it is seldom dull supporting Town and this latest announcement is at the very least "interesting".
Do I buy that "Norwichgate" didn't have anything to do with the latest events? Personally I probably think it did, but I also don't know.
Whatever the facts it is either a very bold, or incredibly daft decision. It is however a decision that will shape the Kevin Nagle era.
I posted after Phil fired off the Cowleys that it needed to work or he would be toast. As it was Covid probably saved phil from the toaster and the next season was very welcome. In this case Mr Nagle will be judged by what happens next, will he be toasted with champagne or covered in Lurpak? Time will tell.
My thanks to Neil and Ronnie, they were legends before Feb 23, their reputation will live on as long as HTAFC does. Cheers for everything lads, all the best for the future.

For those who are not supportive of Big Kev, imagine being a Wendies fan this morning!! Wow, what a rant ! Comes across a but child like tbh, but that might be more to do with cultural differences. So if he's not now putting in any cash it's only a matter of weeks before they go into Admin, if he's needing to put £2m a month in to keep the ship afloat. Sadly I don't think it'll stop those deluded fans being the architects of their own implosion...it'll be a good watch from our position over here.. and who knows , Halifax away might be more attractive for them ..
It is though a salutory lesson about going over the top and having a pop at the owners...we've had a bit of this with DH and to a small degree 'Potless'Phil and even KN hasn't escaped the vitriol....so...be careful what you wish for I suppose although I don't think we are infected with the same 'entitlement' feeling Wednesday fans have.

I don't think I'm exactly where you are, but jeez, that tweet has been blown out of all proportion, and in many cases by folk that genuinely come out with vitriol. It may not have been wise, but as much as Warnock may be a bit of narcissist (not meant too harshly, he carries it well lol), but he's no soft shrinking violet that will have lost a second's sleep over it. |
