No no, it was definitely ALL Warnock's fault. Nothing to do with Nagle or Cartwright. Just Warnock. Remember when there used to be a middle ground? Now you've either got to throw your lot behind one or the other. Why can't people just admit and accept that all parties have to take some of the blame? Your opening statement throws out any middle ground. You seem to think that Warnock worked out his salary and contract and got it approved without anyone else's input? This might be harsh but Town currently have five strikers on the books and not one of them is capable of performing at championship level on a bi weekly basis never mind weekly.
Rhodes is past it at this level
Same for Ward
Hudlin will never be good enough
Simpson should have stuck to rugby
Harratt is the only one I have a bit of faith in but he's going to need to improve a fair bit.
Pathetic that we find ourselves in that situation only 3 years after being in the Premier League

Pathetic that we find ourselves in that situation only 3 years after being in the Premier League I agree with most of that aside from Rhodes. He is without a doubt beyond his best years in this division however if we were able to play to his strengths he 100% has a part to play this season in my opinion. I always wondered why he and Ward were never tried together up front. One holds the ball up well and the other finishes well. Worth a shot. |

Trouble is its a big thing in America, my kids used to get faces painted and have balloon models made in the FMU, don't think adults are bothered either way, the dizzy pens were good to watch!!. I was a regular at San Jose Earthquakes a few years ago, and also watched a US national team game at their stadium. Football over there is all ice creams and bouncy castles, a completely different game to what we've got over here. I spoke to Jake Edwards a few weeks ago about this and even he said that in America the fans don't take the result home with them like they do in this country. |
