So next Saturday we welcome Leicester city down to the John smiths stadium. Should be a cracking atmosphere. Can see Leicester selling out their allocation. However I do worry for us next weekend. If we defend like we have today I fear for us. Let’s see if we can get back on track after our result today. I’m Sure Neil & Ronnie will fire into them this week in training. Ronnie looked absolutely fuming at full time today.

Dream on they will rip through that “midfield” without breaking sweat. 3 or 4 nil at least. We won’t get a win this month

Oh the days of Depoitre spinning Maguire and pinging it into the bottom corner. Take me back.

Diarra, great little player, never going to work next to jack rudoni who really should he dropped for that performance today. Probably put yuta in the 3 in midfield or headly and hope pearaon doesnt shit himself again like today, happened with him today. Probably his worst performance for town.

We defend like that, they get 7.
Fortunately we won’t, we simply cant.
A Sunday league pub Team would take advantage of that defending.

Should be out on loan in league one. The amount of times he miscontrolled it or just gave it away today was unacceptable. The odd nice turn doesn't make up for it.

Pearson did fine until the knock. Rudoni is expected to do too much for his age and experience. I want a cup run, but would try Midgely V Boro in the middle. Or Austerfield. Save Hogg and Rudoni for Leicester. Then V Leicester, 3 of Hogg Rudoni and Kasumu if fit.

Numerous times we stood off there attackers on the edge of the box i thought has that have been koroma on form he’d have had two or three. Decent teams won’t break sweat against us knowing if that’s how we go about this season it’ll be a walk over.

PL squad versus a L1 squad, going to be unpleasant watching and an embarrassing scoreline

Hi Folk
I’m a Leicester supporter who will be visiting your stadium for the first time (and it will be ground #71 visited in which I have watched my team).
I would welcome advice on where I be able to eat and watch the Lionesses' game against Columbia, kick-off 11:30 prior to the game at the John Smiths. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

If you're coming from the town centre then other people could probably advise you better than me. If you're coming in from Cooper Bridge end, through Bradley and onto Leeds Road that way, then the Peacock is a pub on the way to the ground, used to be friendly for away supporters and SOMETIMES had football on the telly, although iirc it was usually a video of an old match. Are you driving? On the train? Parking at the stadium or elsewhere? If you could give more clues about your travel more people could advise you.

Hi
Driving up early to catch the Lionesses' game.
Flexible on location of suitable pub/bar/working men’s club.
No parking plans yet until I've found a pub to watch that game.
Thanks for the heads up on the Peacock, I've just emailed them to ask if they will be showing the game. That would work if they are doing so as the ground is nearby if it goes into extra time.
Alternative suggestions welcomed
Thanks

They're both situated on St Andrews Road off Wakefield Road, the ground is further down St Andrews Road.

It has felt on datm recently that a few posters are hammering the negativity, getting to a point where it’s blatantly WUMS and needs sorting out, as it’s not a true reflection on how the majority of town fans feel. KN reading this forum take notice , the fans are behind you UTT.

Can see it being a long afternoon for us on Saturday, similar to Burnley at home at the beginning of last season but with more goals.

Assume we're going all out to win this one after surrendering the cup game. Our focus must be on doing well in the league 🤔
