Best moment of the game for me was the full on challenge between Rudoni and one of their oiks, near the halfway line.
Proper tackle by both for a 50/50. There was an audible oooofff from the Kilner after the crunch.
Left the game with optimism for the season. Optimism as in mid-table mediocrity.

Absolutely begging for attention Shit like that makes me feel embarrassed to be a fellow Town fan. Can only assume he's back on the sauce. I think it's safe to ignore anyone who feels the need to tag Kevin Nagle in their tweets.

Does anyone know how to listen to the BBC Radio Leeds Town post match show? Bradford show is now on DAB and Leeds on FM. This really needs sorting out. I can get us in my car but only Bradford in the wife's car. It’s a disgrace, I complained to the BBC, case answered with some nonsense weasel words then closed down, they know it’s a massive issue but don’t give a fk. If it was the Leeds coverage it would have been sorted long ago. On the plus side if you’re looking for an excuse to save over a hundred quid on your TV license you’ve got it. It’s their duty to provide coverage for the region, they know they don’t cover large parts of Huddersfield with DAB but don’t care and pretend it’s not an issue. By the way if you can find the other DAB channel which requires you to access station info that isn’t possible on many devices you still won’t be able to listen to the town commentary due to the coverage issue. That’s the excuse they give when you complain but in reality the other channel (which nobody knows about or can find) doesn’t work in most areas anyhow, certainly in the Holme and colne valley.

Seeing us play like that as given confidence in the rest of the season. They were very quick ant the lad at the back no 3 Faes was class.

Unlucky Town. We grafted well, though no attacking threat at all.A draw wouldn’t have been undeserved for the determination but at the end of the day the quality showed. On we go. Did you watch this match? 13 shots, 3 on target, their keeper made two good saves and Helik missed a fabulous chance in the first half plus the blocks their defenders made. We had them on the backfoot plenty of times. I don’t think we play with much attacking threat. To be honest, I don’t think we have for a few years. Their keeper’s saves were decent but would have been expected to save them. I’m not having a go at Town, I thought the game was ok, but we have no attacking threat. We play well at the back, we play well through the middle and wide but it usually comes to very little. I just say it as I see it.

The lads gave it a real go today. Took a keeper mistake to turn the game in their favour. Disappointed we didn't come away with a point because I thought we deserved it. New striker needed ASAP.

Humble pie time. Thought we would get mullered today but we played very well. Continue like that and we’ll finish comfortably mid-table come the end of the season. Helik and Pearson were immense today, full backs very good in their roles, Sorba looked like the Sorba of old, Wardy never stopped running, etc. Admittedly Nicholl’s pulled off 3 excellent saves that would have seen them home and dry but I thought we could have nicked a point at a given moment. Plenty to be optimistic about after that.

Although we lost (and I expected us to lose given the gulf in quality), I'm not too disheartened.
We had some decent chances, Helik should have scored, and Nicholls shouldn't really have been beaten at his near post through his legs, but we played some decent stuff at times, and didn't really play that bad in my opinion.
We've played far worse than that many times over the years.
Disappointed to lose as I think a draw wouldn't have been totally undeserved, but there were positives to take from the game

Why do we persist with Danny Ward? He offers so much to us in terms of pressing. He sprints at their defence and keeper for as long as he’s on the pitch to make it uncomfortable for them. Ideally we get someone who can do that and also score 15/20 a season but they just don’t exist, not for our budget anyway. And when we’re in our situation, hard workers and grafters have to be first on the team sheet. He did no worse than any of them out there today.

Talking to one of their fans on the way back into town and he said they're signing another 5 players before the window shuts. He reckoned their forwards are on £300k a week between them.

Deserved more than that. Get someone in who can actually put the ball in the net and we’ll stay up comfortably.

No complaints from me, a really enjoyable game apart from the result. And as for spending money on attackers, several million gets the ball in the upper tier of the Panasonic stand! Goodness me, he was poor wasn't he? Everton among his suitors, apparently. If he goes to them, we'll see him back at ours next season.

I didn't hold out much hope today. I thought we might get shown up.
I was very pleased with the performance. We matched a side I don't think will finish lower than 2nd. I couldn't really fault anybodies effort or performance today. I agree with everybody with regards to Rudoni, Diarra, Thomas etc. But I though Hogg was immense today, back to his old form. Maybe not man of the match though. Ruffles and Edwards did not look out of place today.
My only concern is we aren't going to score many with Ward up front. But everybody knows that.

I see Ward is this week’s scapegoat. I wish people would actually watch and understand the game. Worked his absolute arse off and is the reason we weren’t in our own half for 90 minutes. Agreed he worked his socks off. Noone cam argue that. But, he lost the ball at least 4 times and gifted them with counter attacks. He offered absolutely nothing today. Harratt did more in his 15 mins. But its okay, he runs around.

Thought we played well today and did as much as we could really, shame the game was settled by a goalkeeping error. Diarra Rudoni superb in the middle but as we all know we badly miss that little bit of quality up top ward was a passenger today not in terms of work rate but in offering any threat.

I thought the second half was poor. The game was getting away from us when Pat Jones first stripped to come on. We waited and waited and conceded. Very little on the bench once we go behind. Except the two he brought on looked very good??

He hardly broke sweat and knows he doesn't have to because he's an automatic choice. He contributed four fifths of fuck all and wouldn't get anywhere near the starting line-up of any other Championship side.

That was an entertaining and enjoyable game, something that was extremely rare last season. Everyone of a town persuasion, both on the pitch and in the stands, worked extremely hard. Bring on the next one!

Probably did but did Harratt touch the ball after he came on 🤷 And what's the point in having a 6'9" striker if you're not going to bring him on when your 1 down with 5 mins left and you're slinging balls into the box.

I saw the opposite of sprinting, he casually strolls a lot and never looks like he is going to score. I think he is poor.
