That shirt had a strong smell of perfume. Football has changed. Got Adam Clayton’s shirt years ago when Leeds hammered us (think it was the Alex Smithie game)…that smelled of perfume too! And was TINY, my lad was 13 or 14 at the time and it was perfect size for him! Got Jacob Butterfield's from the poppy appeal years ago and that just stank. Much like his attitude.

His best game by far.. They couldn’t handle him.. All the tricks were coming out near the end.. Anybody else notice the looking the other way pass to koroma?? 👏👏👏👏👏 Tbf, most of our players have appeared to be looking elsewhere when they've passed the ball this season 😉

Bit of a letdown that he didn't stand on the ball yesterday 😁

No brainer to sign this guy up. Surround him with better players and teach him when to release the ball and he’d be flying. Strong runner, tricky, runs the channel very well - for a counter attacking team he’s got a lot of great attributes. He seems to give his match shirt away often, nice touch. That shirt had a strong smell of perfume. Football has changed. He’s Dutch isn’t he? Are you sure it was perfume? 😉

Listening to kosi on the way home and I have to agree with him. If he played like that every week he wouldn’t be playing for us.
He can be very frustrating but at least he always wants to have a go. When football can be slow and negative he has to be applauded.

Another goal for The Zorg.
I find it bizarre the negativity he gets.
We haven't had a striker for YEARS. I think town fans have actually forgotten the purpose of a striker..
All we've had is players that run around and chase down defenders and don't score - Ward, Fraizer Campbell, Sa'no goals, etc etc etc etc
Strikers are greedy.
Strikers don't score every chance.
Zorg has scored 8 in 27 in a new division, in a very poor side.
Defenders struggle to deal with him.
He's a snip at 1.0m but doubt he would could to us in league 1.

( he has dyed blonde hair)

He worked hard, took his goal well, creates his own chances, yes he misses a few that he should score, but with other players in his place we'd never get as near. Infuriating at times but he's one of my favourite players in this team, because he doesn't do things by half. So many of our players get caught in two minds and end up doing neither. Burgzorg is completely single minded which is behind a lot of his best attributes and also his worst ones.
Him and Rudoni need to really work on building an understanding though, every game there's a point where Del has the ball, Rudoni makes a run that'd put him clean through, and Del ignores him.

If i were Zorg there's a 0% chance I'd be playing in Rudoni - yet again he missed from 8 yards out today. He misses a gobber literally almost every game. Rudoni is another where his work rate seems to be more useful than his end product - which is a problem because he's supposed to be creative! Kasumu/Matos/Hogg are there to break things up

Agreed that Rudoni gets away with it from town fans because he works hard. Doesn’t create, doesn’t score. Needs to up his game and start delivering some numbers.

We need a 10 that scores, assist and doesn't miss gobbers literally every game.
Wiles isn't the answer.
Unfortunately it doesn't look like Rudoni is the answer. I've seen enough in the 73 appearances to come to that conclusion. (7 goals in 73)
Sinani was more effective. (6 in 39) And had a wicked corner on him.

AB did mention in his post-match that these players really need to be confident that they are going to score... they are not.

Prefer him on the wing where he can get concentrate on beating his man and can show his flair.
He’s just not a striker.
Can see it in his positioning that he just doesn’t know where to be. Amazed no one has been able to coach him simple positioning yet.

It looks like he even practices at been off side in training, with the daft free kicks we have with him failing to unsettle the keeper

Dreadful game today
We don’t need his Bacuna-like attitude, it spreads throughout the team
We need battlers and grafters now, not players that show up when they feel like it
I’d be very happy not to see him play again

He genuinely looks like he doesn't give a single fuck yet those busting a nut like Rudoni are being given pelters. Bonkers.

The lad doesn't have a sprint or a press in him. If step overs were goals, he'd be the Championship top scorer.

Excellent post - and yet some people are suggesting we pay £1m for him next season ! He could start by accepting that football is a team game, step-overs are only impressive in the school playground, and what division we are in does actually matter to thousands of Huddersfield Town supporters.

Abysmal: no other way to describe his performance yesterday.
Steven Chicken on Burgzorg in 5 Conclusions:
“Burgzorg is most notable among them, treating every moment of every game like he’s mucking about with his mates in the park, rather than fighting a relegation battle as a professional footballer.
There have been times this season when his unpredictability has been worth putting up with, but he’s so bad outside those rare moments that it’s surely no longer anything like a worthwhile trade-off. On the contrary, when he plays like this, Burgzorg is actively detrimental to the work Town are trying to do in attack.
Burgzorg had 22 touches in 64 minutes in this game, five of which did not officially count because he was offside — some 23%. With his remaining 17(!) touches, Burgzorg did not once successfully get past an opponent, drew zero fouls, and completed just eight passes to teammates — a couple of which were deemed ‘complete’ only on a technicality, and none of which resulted in a shooting opportunity for a teammate (key passes). Burgzorg had two shots, neither of which were on target; made no tackles or interceptions; and won just one aerial duel.”
Everything you need to know, and stats to back it up. Seriously hope he’s not starting vs Stoke.

I really hope his loan came with “an option to buy” and not a “commitment to buy”. He trudged off yesterday like he’d been hooked before being able to claim his third goal to complete a brilliant hat trick and not because he’d done the square root of naff all for 64 minutes.
